no mames esta cancion no tiene madre T_T aaaaaaa muy buen tema y k se joda el puto k le puso el voto negativo skinhead spirit of 69!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
schmidthors69 Is 100% correct I bought this album in a shop in Portobella Road in 1992 Trojan records had closed a warehouse in West London, it was light blue Prince Buster was on the front wearing an African Costume on the back of the cover the words. It is 96 degree`s in tonight in Jamaica in the dance the Ska has slowed down to a Rock steady beat; This album was still in it original packaging sealed and unplayed . A rare find GREAT ALBUM!
I loved this version! And I must disagree with some people that said this version is not sang with emotion because of the rhythm or whatever other reasos they had to say that... it is still beautiful and it can still touch our hearts, at least my heart.
Stay Rude Stay Rebel... Spirit of 69, remeber the girls and boys dancing skinhead reggae in England, Brixton don't stop of dance... rude song, feeling rude boy.
Ive been searching high and low for this+ dark end of the street + all my loving, but at least one on LP but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know if there is a Buster compliation with these on?
Either/Or! I love 'nothing takes the place..', but would love to get dark end of the street too. any suggestions? or websites i might be able get this from?
Very nice, interesting reggae version. It was a big hit for Monroe La. native Toussaint McCall in the 60's. And there was a country version made in the 70's by Asleep at the Wheel. Proves that a good song can be arranged & interpreted in many ways.
@rudeboypop Hi- I agree ..... I did .. over 40 years ago or so except it was by someone else. (slow dance) This version is damn good too in a very different way. cheers rudeboy
nothing takes the place of this sng. I've missed hearing. FInding nowat the approbiate time is undefinable.

Toussaint McCallって人のカバー。バスターのロックステディの中でも人気のある曲。せつなくて、甘くてたまんないっす。酒がよく似合う。
