It would be HELL boring if both Dan/Serena and Blair/Chuck were a similar type of couple. Every show has two types, the type that are stable and happy and work through their problems and the type that are kept apart for prolonged periods of times and are full of angst. It's nice to have Serena/Dan in contrast to Blair/Chuck. And believe it or not Rufus/Lily have quite a large shipping as well. Realise there is more than one type of audience watching the show.

i think the characters on this show look alot younger than most HS shows...But sometimes it can be boring, i dont really like dan and serenas relationship, IMO chuck and blair are the most interesting characters on the show....sometimes they focus too much on the parents too, i dont care about rufus!

Completely agree...especially on the dan/serena thing..they should make them more interesting, you know? fight more, be imperfect...have Dan cheat on her with Vanessa...her doing something crazy she claims she would have done before.

i think this show is really boring. i mean besides the girl who plays jenny, none of them look like they are in high school.
