"If our neighbour ... votes to raise our sewer rates ... we can ... stuff a potato up the tailpipe of his car." ... did he just suggest that if someone votes a way you don't like, that you have the right to damage their property?
"Not my fault" ... "science, chemistry" ... "IQ, DNA, Evolution, Abortion, Divorce" ... "it's too late, I'm a child of my era." ... so he goes on about how people shirk their responsibility, then says it wasn't his fault either. Further, while many of the things in his list talk about issues that are not concrete, when he says that things like science, chemistry, DNA, evolution, abortion, divorce ... are lumped in with everything else, I believe he has gone too far. He's not trying to be funny
He's going after FDR, the New Deal, the Four Freedoms. He doesn't see that, at best, only LBJ
