@huynhminhtri yep guy!!! actually.. that's good for somebody that got a big heavy wallet... so why dont they satisfied themselves...why in our live life now, people are trying hardly to making money...simplely.. to pay...
This is morally wrong to have such an expensive car in a very crowed city where so many people have no home of their own. If you live in Sai Gon than you will know that the city is not conducive for such a fast high performance car.
I agree UU238 the viet guy in the yellow lambo just care about himself he never help poor people, in Vn few rich people help the poor, most of them don't ,all the charities from the foreign country ,and the goverment still take that money put in thier own pocket corruption, just little bit go to poor people
@EDEBOYZ THAT'S EVERY COUNTRY.....SINCE WHEN DID THE RICH care about the poor? it''s not just vietnam. open your eyes and stop being naive. THA'T'S HOW THE WORLD WORKS!

Kiều bào tặng cây cầu thứ 104 cho quê hương. Chưa đến giờ cắt băng khánh thành 3 cây cầu VK 96, 98 và 104 cho làng quê nghèo xã Vĩnh Kim, tỉnh Trà Vinh,
haha yal dont know shite about vietnam haha is a fuckin still communist government if you rich you get richer by pay more tax if not they take everything alway from you, so you see those fucker in this video who drive lambo and ferrari they was bored rich into a rich family or goverment family no one really make it in vietnam by poor to rich without pay the way up...soo if you can pay the goverment you basicly can do anything really,
I agree that you should share to the poor but how do you know that all the drivers that you showed in the video in US helping other poor people? maybe..the guy who live in Vietnam helping more that those street racer...who knows?
Well, these street racers seem to enjoy themselves and could care less for the poor. They may or may not put their money directly in the hands of the poor but one thing for sure is they are in the group of top 10% income earners who pay over 70% of total income taxes.
So as far as I know, their tax money will end up in the hands of the poor through social programs such as welfare, food stamps. I'm sure they pay more than their fair share of taxes. What did the Viet guy in Lambo do to help?
@UU238 what kind of high income earner pay 70% of their tax. I have not heard such "extensive" personal income tax exist anywhere on earth.
Developed country tax doesn't only go to welfare system, it also helps to strengthen military and political power to exert dominence over poorer countries, enrich themselves even further via means such as unfair trading. So in your logic of thinking, these guys are doing the same thing as the corrupted system that make poor country keep up being poor.
@LanTronXoe Did you read? It doesn't exist anywhere on earth because I did not say their tax rate was 70%. What I said was 70% of U.S INCOME TAX REVENUE was being paid by a small group of top 10% income earners.
These rich guys pay their share of taxes and what the government does with their money is beyond their control and that's not my point. The point is they do help the poor and the Viet guy in that Lambo does not.
@UU238 how do you know he's not helping. He could well be driving a Veyron and giving millions to charities. You can't just assume everyone rich to be an evil motherfucker. It's extremely shallow to judge a person by just looking at the car he's driving.
@UU238 Now go tell thats to Obama ...Without the poor or middle class, the dumbass rich can never bullshit with his business again...like they said "moneys talk bullshit walk"...And to all the rich BITCH right now How long will you last ,is walk on thin ice. with economy bullshit right now ..GOD is not done with you peoples yet..Is just only a begining..soon you rich bitch will be riding on tricycle
@UU238 First off you have no clue as to how much or little those people do for charity. Secondly, who are you to say how a person can spend their money? FYI the top earners in the USA pays a much smaller percentage to income than the average Joe. To argue otherwise is just plain stupid. You don't have a clue how the tax system works and should really stop spreading your hate speech. If you're so concern about charity please show us how much of your income goes to helping the poor.
@gsvkck You're incorrect. Have you heard of tax brackets? Yes it's just plain stupid by saying the average Joe pays at the highest rate! FYI, the top 10% of income earners pay 70% of all federal income taxes while the bottom 50% pays only 3%. And more than 1/3 of US earners pay no federal income tax at all. Do your homework before barking, ok?!
@UU238 Now you're just showing the world just how ignorant you really are. There is no such thing as 70% tax bracket in the USA, and certainly no 3% bracket neither. I'd fire whoever is doing your taxes, lol. Warren Buffet and Bill Gates pay less in taxes per income percentage than the people working for them. You are a silly silly man.
@gsvkck Use other half of your brain so you can absorb more what I'm saying. Let me rephrase it so people like you can understand, 70% of all FEDERAL INCOME TAX REVENUE paid by a small group of top 10% earners while only 3% of it paid by the bottom 50% of earners. Now you know who pays more who pays less, do you not?. Without the top 10% the US government would have been bankrupt and welfare people would have seen their checks stop coming.
@gsvkck Speaking of tax brackets, as of 2010, the average Joe pay at the rate of 15% while Gates and Buffett pay at 35% and according to you 35% is less than 15%. Boy, whoever teaches you math should have been fired!
@UU238 Even I were to use only 50% of my brain I'm sure I would still be more intelligent than you. Buffet and Gates both admitted in numerous interview that they pay a much lower tax rate than their assistant. It's no secret that the middle class in America bare the heaviest tax burden. I can school you all day in the finer points of finance but it would be an exercise in futility. Instead of being jealous of the owner of this cool car, why not get off your lazy butt so you one day buy one?
@gsvkck Google "Who pays income taxes and how much?" and see it for yourself who's bearing the heaviest tax burden instead of yapping nonsense with no facts. Your skull is so thick that your brain can't absorb of what I'm saying. Sure, you're so intelligent that you can't explain why 35% is less than 15% lol. Buffett and Gates have been big Obama supporters in raising taxes, however, I can only believe what they might have said when I actually see their tax returns.
@UU238 Like I stated before "THE MIDDLE CLASS" pays most of the taxes. You don't have to trust me, just go look at the National Taxpayer Union. It's alright to be wrong, but it's pathetic to be wrong and refuse to correct your mistake.
@gsvkck Here you go again! Are you talking to yourself ?!
1) You're the one who refuses to admit you're wrong. You started out with, in your own words, "the top earners in the USA pays a much smaller percentage to income than the average Joe". You're wrong, as I pointed out 35% tax rate for high earners is NOT less than 15% for the average Joe.
@UU238 I make about 62k a year, and have always consider myself an average Joe. Most people I know feel the same way and never look at themselves more than anything other than an average Joe. You obviously don't make much money otherwise you would know the rich never pays the true rate, but instead uses many tax loopholes. Enough with this bs, I don't want to waste any more time on you and your loser friends.
@gsvkck You make 62k a year. No wonder you have no clue how much tax the 6, 7 figure earners pay. Numbers don't lie, and those thinking that the top earners don't pay their fair share can't argue with the numbers. And you obviously can't. You tend to think with emotion, not fact, logic or intellect. The "middle class" thing has more or less been the left's favorite class envy game.
You started, not me. I don't like repeating myself either. I'd rather talk to a brick wall than you. Goodbye!
@UU238 The two of you are cut from the same cloth(thick). Yes I make 62k these days because I had to leave my old job, where I use to make 150k-220 depending on sales. So I'm speaking from experience here. In comparison I was able to invest more therefor defer taxes when making 6figures whereas today I spend most of my income on living expenses so in effect pay the true tax rate. I don't think you're able to comprehend all this because you seem to get your info second hand. Got a rich daddy?
2) Now you're all over the map jumping from "average Joe" to "the middle class". Which is wrong, average Joe is not in the middle class group because he never makes more than 50k a year (look up the definition of average Joe). That puts him in the bottom 75% of earners which only pays 14% of the tax burden, 14% is a small part of the pie. Again, you're wrong as saying the average Joe pays most of the taxes.
@gsvkck You've been brainwashed by liberal Democrats for so long that despite of the fact 97% of federal tax revenue being paid by the top 50% earners and you're still saying the middle class bearing the heaviest tax burden in the US. Where is the burden when you at the bottom 50% only pay the rest of 3% dumbass?!!!
@gobacktojungle Relax before you give yourself an heart attack skippy. The bottom 50% which is poverty or near poverty level pays the least in tax, but you are distorting the fact. The middle class has always been the bread and butter of the American economy. Unlike you I like to speak only when I know about a subject. Dismiss!
@gsvkck Are you suggesting that 50% of Americans live in or near poverty? That's new!!! Your arguments go from bad to worse. You don't seem to know much about the subject, so you're going to shut up, right?
Btw, if UU238 doesn't know how much tax the top earners pay because she is not one of them, what makes you know so much about the rich? Are you one of them because you make 62k a year?!!!
@gobacktojungle 50% of Americans are two paychecks away from financial hardship even homelessness. You seem surprise at these numbers, perhaps you been in the jungle for too long? I know about this subject better than most because I've lived on both sides making six figures and now earning 62k a year.
@gsvkck I thought you didn't want to waste any more time on losers. What ticks you off? That 62k comment?!!! I hope that big pay cut is looking really "good" on your resume. And just a reminder, lying is not helping your job search either. You're a salesman and can't convince anyone of anything, how can that be? Go talk to a 5 year old will you?.
i like all comments of UU238 and angeleyes966. Both of them are right. neither UU238 nor angeleyes966 are wrong. that was a good debate.
agree with UU238--> the economic growth cannot reflect anything or benefit people.
agree with angeleyes: vietnam is getting better than the last decade. and not all of people are corruption except...... because i can tell that my uncle is just has a small business" tieu thuong cho ben thanh" but he can buy a car.

some of the things that are posted on here are exactly wat i have been thinking about. see i just came back from vn and seeing how the rich folks over there dont really give two sh**s about the rest of the population. reason i say this is that i see people drive expensive cars on a small street of vn and make the street more clog like a 5 o clock rush hour.....
This aint Vietnam, there's just happen to be 1motorcycle there at the time. We don't have that kinda road ova there, there'd be FULL of moped if this was Vietnam.
Yes, those Lambos in the second part of the video were indeed in the U.S. The only Lambo in Vietnam was the yellow one when you first saw in the video.
What this video is trying to show is Saigon (Vietnam) shouldn't be a place for Lambo because having a Lambo in Saigon is just like having a chandelier in a hut.
I don't get your logic. It's o.k. for wealthy people in the U.S. to show off but it's not acceptable for rich people in VN to show off? Am I missing something here? There are tons of people in the U.S. who don't even have homes and young children go to bed hungry at night and it's o.k.?
I'm sorry if you don't understand it. The gap between the rich and the poor is too big in VN, so it is more serious in VN. The rich is too rich, and the poor do not have anything at all. ALL RICH people who show off like the one in the LAMBO in the movie should rethink about it rather than showing off like that...how about help out the poor please, especially the children. Of course, it is not OK no matter where. I am talking about the one presented in the video above.
" The gap between the rich and poor is too big in VN"
Well, what about the gap of poor and rich in the U.S. How big can it gets when there are hundreds of billionaires and there 700,000-2 millions homeless people in the U.S. Not to mention millions of children go to bed hungry at night. They also do not have anything. Should the rich in the U.S. rethink and do something about it rather then showing off? I rest my case.
Haha. They don't go hungry like those in VN. There are plenty to go around in the U.S. my friend. Furthermore, there are chances for the poor over here that VN sure DOES NOT have. LOL. What "case" do you have?
What make you think Vietnamese people go hungry. Do you have proof? Besides, if you read my prior comments, there are plenty of public and private charities that help the poor and the needy. The mayor of Da Nang vow to keep beggars of the street by organizing programs for the poor and the needy. His program is working since you will see much less beggars than before. I assure you the riches in VN also contribute their wealths. VN is a free market economy, they reap what you sow.
Besides, the people who are resting on the street are not poor. That is their occupation by selling foods on the street. For example, my uncle is a school principal in VN and he has a decent salary. His wife still still sell food on the street since she doesn't want to stay home. Selling on the street is one way to make additional money. In conclusion, not all are poor. They at least have enough money to make a living by selling foods. Don't be surprise if they even own cell phones.
VN still is a under-developed/third world country. Maybe catch up to Tawain or S. Korea or so then I will believe you my friend. By the way, have you own a Lambo like the one in the video? Sound rich. :) Cheer!
Vietnam is a developing country that grows extremely fast economically. This year, it's considered a lower middle income country. Sooner or later, it will be similar to Taiwan or S. Korea. Like I've mentioned, VN has free market economy similar to the U.S. The people have the chance to be extremely rich. No, I don't own a Lambo., but my cousin own a 100 K mercedes. Yes, there are rich people in VN and they have right to buy luxuries like any other countries. They reap what they sow.
Please don't quote things that you don't know. My cousin became rich with his own bare hands o.k? He works hard for what he has right now. I should know more about my cousin than you. He reaps what he is sow.
" The one in Saigon is living a hedonistic lifestyle."
This is also true with many Americans. So what is your point? Are you saying they can't even harvest what they sow? This is free market economy my friend. If you are lucky, smart, and work hard, you will succeed. This is true for all free market economies. Maybe I should stop here.
Yeah. I think you should stop there too so you can understand and get it. oh well...just let me know when VN will be like S. Korea. I'll give it 5 years but not buying it.
Sorry, I have to respond because you talk just like a mindless robot.
I hate to repeat myself, the economic growth is NOT a measurment of the standard of living in a country. That's always the case in communist countries like Vietnam and China. The fast-growing economy in VN does not mean EVERYONE would benifit from it, especially people who are not in the communist party circle. It's very simple, because VN economic and political structure was designed to do just that.
VN will never be similar to Taiwan or S. Korea, ever. Since VN has adopted the so-called "China Model", that is, economic freedom plus political repression. So, if you want to predict the future of Vietnam then look no further than China because Vietnam is just an image of China in the mirror, a decade ago or so.
Look at China, it has a huge trade surplus with the U.S every year, and yet the standard of living in China is much lower than that in the U.S and other industrialized countries. And this is not accidental but rather intentional from the Chinese communist government. This is the future of VN my friend. Of course, there are some millionaires and billionaires but those belong to the communist party's elite.
Of course, the super rich and powerful CSVN have every right to do whatever they want and nobody can stop them. But what about the basic rights of millions of Vietnamese there. Do they have the right to vote all the scumbags out? Do they have the right to be critical of their own government without fear of retribution? Do they have the right to form a political party?. Of course not, but you don't care, do you?
You don't have to use CSVN nonsense statistical data, just ask people in VN this simple question: "Would you like to be poor in the United States or would you like to be poor in Vietnam?".
I asked all my friends and relatives in VN, the living standard in VN is much better than a decade ago. All of them said they wanted to stay in Vietnam to rebuild the country and have no desire to live in the U.S. I didn't have a chance to ask the poor whether they choose to live in the U.S. or Vietnam, but I assure you they would answer neither since it's tough to be poor in the U.S. as well as VN.
Keep in mind that a "poor" family in the U.S might not have a lot of cash in the bank but they sure have government check, food stamps check coming every month. And they do have cars, flat screen TVs, DVD, CD players, video game, phone, computer, refrigerator, microwave oven, stove, dishwasher ... a shelter with electricity, hot and cold running water and indoor toilet, you name it. Ask the poor people in VN about these things if you dare.
There are lots of private and government charities/programs in VN at the moment to help the poor or the needy. In fact, you will find very few beggars in the city of Da Nang since the governor of Da Nang set up many programs to help the poor and needy. If you don't believe me, go and see for yourself. In conclusion, poverty is a problem world wide and no country is poverty free. Maybe I should stop here.
You keep showing me those statistical data from CSVN without questioning how they came up with those numbers?. Who knows how they came up with those numbers. Too much blind faith can sometimes lead you to trouble. Of course, CSVN never use the U.S criteria because if they do, the VN poverty levels would have been in the 70%!. So, just because the CSVN came up with the same poverty rates, it doesn't mean the poverty in both countries are the same.
No, the datas that I gave you are from U.S. articles and CIA and I got them from google. There are no statistical datas from CSVN. Please get your fact straight.
No, the poverty in both coutries are not the same because you are comparing apples to oranges. You didn't seem to get it when I said the term poverty had to be defined first.
In the U.S, in order to determine who is in poverty, the average poverty thresholds has to be established and updated every year first. And based on those thresholds and other factors, a family or an individual could be determined "in poverty" or not. It's a complex computation.
If you want facts, I'll show you facts. The people who live under the poverty level is 12% for the U.S. and 14.8% for VN according to CIA. The figure for U.S. is in 2004 where the econony of the U.S. is still strong. VN economy grows 6.5% in 2008 and projected to grow 5.2% in 2009. The U.S. economy is projected to contract at least 1% in 2009. With VN growth, it is projected VN poverty level to be reduced to 10% by 2010.
You can't compare apples to oranges. Those numbers about poverty level in both U.S and VN are meaningless unless the term poverty has to be defined first.
Again, the economic growth is not a measurment of the STANDARD OF LIVING in a country. Your "facts" about VN economic growth, those numbers are meaningless because an economy can grow without benefiting everyone in it.
Yes, poverty is a relative term, but I know for sure that poverty is the same in Vietnam as well as the U.S. What I mean is the condition of poverty. I am a Vietnamese American and I love the U.S. as well as Vietnam. Both Vietnamese and the U.S. governments should find ways to fight poverties. Instead of pounding your chest and say I'm better than you or you should do this or do that, just look at your own problems first. I am sure there are plenty of things that are needed to be done.
For example, in the 1970s Brazil's economy grew around 10%, but at the end of that era, the gap between rich and poor had widened. The same thing is happening now in Vietnam and China. So, is that a good thing for the average everyday Vietnamese people?
Also I forgot to mention there are approximately 3.5 million U.S. childrens that are malnourishd in the U.S. Some figure go as high as 13 million malmourished childrens. Let's be obtimistic and use only 3.5 million childrens. But still, That's about the population of Laos itself. there are about 727,304- 2 million homeless in the U.S. I got these from google. This is what I mean by the level of poverty is the same in the U.S. as with VN. Unfortunately, I don't have any datas from VN.
Not a single person in their right mind would accept ANYTHING they read online as reliable information. Your information was from some liberal bloggers who, in 2005, tried to build a case against Bush's budget cuts on social programs. Of course, there was some kind of exaggeration there.
Btw, malnourished children problem in the U.S is not due to lack of food or food programs, but is largely due to a neglect from drug, alcohol abusing parents.
" Not a single person ...... they read online as reliable information".
Well, if you don't believe informations from google, then you shouldn't believe anything at all and there is no point in this discussion. There is an old VN proverb, " If there is no fire, then there shouldn't be any smoke". The main reason why liberal blogger brought up budget cuts on social programs is because the problem is way serious enough. No, I don't think negligent parents is the only cause of
malnourished children in the U.S. Please read my older comment for the article about U.S. child welfare. It lists many reasons for child poverty/malnourishments.
But I'm sure there are plenty of poverties. But the government of VN has reduced poverty from 40% a little than a decade ago to 14.8% in 2008. Poverties is a world wide problem, we can fight this together if we can even if we have to sacrifice one of the shiny Lambo. than runs through beautiful U.S. streets or in VN.
Even in the U.S., there are poor childrens who go to bed hungry at night. There are homeless people who pick trashes to look for food in San Francisco, CA. There are people who live in the Appalagian Mountains of Kentucky and West Virginia who dream of owning a car and a cell phone. Oh, by the way, what is the use of owning a Lamborghini in the U.S. when you cannot go to certain wealthy areas without being stopped by cops when you appear to look hispanic or black?
" Even in the U.S., there are poor childrens who go to bed hungry at night. There are homeless people who pick trashes to look for food in San Francisco, CA."
So why is obesity becoming an epidemic in America? Because they don't have enough food? Have you heard of Food Banks and Food Stamps?
If what you said were true, the liberal media would have been all over it.
There are obese people in Vietnam too. Besides, the fatty diets and lacks fo exercise plays a major roll in obesity. Since I do not have time, please read an article " U.S. fares poorly in child welfare survey". You can search this article in google.

I agree that you should share to the poor but how do you know that all the drivers that you showed in the video in US helping other poor people? maybe..the guy who live in Vietnam helping more that those street racer...who knows?
happyboyy8k 2 years ago 2
Well, these street racers seem to enjoy themselves and could care less for the poor. They may or may not put their money directly in the hands of the poor but one thing for sure is they are in the group of top 10% income earners who pay over 70% of total income taxes.
So as far as I know, their tax money will end up in the hands of the poor through social programs such as welfare, food stamps. I'm sure they pay more than their fair share of taxes. What did the Viet guy in Lambo do to help?
UU238 2 years ago
@UU238 Welfare helps create more lazy people like here in the US
justinluu 1 year ago
@UU238 what kind of high income earner pay 70% of their tax. I have not heard such "extensive" personal income tax exist anywhere on earth.
Developed country tax doesn't only go to welfare system, it also helps to strengthen military and political power to exert dominence over poorer countries, enrich themselves even further via means such as unfair trading. So in your logic of thinking, these guys are doing the same thing as the corrupted system that make poor country keep up being poor.
LanTronXoe 1 year ago
@LanTronXoe Did you read? It doesn't exist anywhere on earth because I did not say their tax rate was 70%. What I said was 70% of U.S INCOME TAX REVENUE was being paid by a small group of top 10% income earners.
These rich guys pay their share of taxes and what the government does with their money is beyond their control and that's not my point. The point is they do help the poor and the Viet guy in that Lambo does not.
UU238 1 year ago 3
@UU238 how do you know he's not helping. He could well be driving a Veyron and giving millions to charities. You can't just assume everyone rich to be an evil motherfucker. It's extremely shallow to judge a person by just looking at the car he's driving.

ltp9735 1 year ago
@UU238 First off you have no clue as to how much or little those people do for charity. Secondly, who are you to say how a person can spend their money? FYI the top earners in the USA pays a much smaller percentage to income than the average Joe. To argue otherwise is just plain stupid. You don't have a clue how the tax system works and should really stop spreading your hate speech. If you're so concern about charity please show us how much of your income goes to helping the poor.
gsvkck 1 year ago
@gsvkck You're incorrect. Have you heard of tax brackets? Yes it's just plain stupid by saying the average Joe pays at the highest rate! FYI, the top 10% of income earners pay 70% of all federal income taxes while the bottom 50% pays only 3%. And more than 1/3 of US earners pay no federal income tax at all. Do your homework before barking, ok?!
UU238 1 year ago
@UU238 Now you're just showing the world just how ignorant you really are. There is no such thing as 70% tax bracket in the USA, and certainly no 3% bracket neither. I'd fire whoever is doing your taxes, lol. Warren Buffet and Bill Gates pay less in taxes per income percentage than the people working for them. You are a silly silly man.
gsvkck 1 year ago
@gsvkck Use other half of your brain so you can absorb more what I'm saying. Let me rephrase it so people like you can understand, 70% of all FEDERAL INCOME TAX REVENUE paid by a small group of top 10% earners while only 3% of it paid by the bottom 50% of earners. Now you know who pays more who pays less, do you not?. Without the top 10% the US government would have been bankrupt and welfare people would have seen their checks stop coming.
UU238 1 year ago 3
@gsvkck Speaking of tax brackets, as of 2010, the average Joe pay at the rate of 15% while Gates and Buffett pay at 35% and according to you 35% is less than 15%. Boy, whoever teaches you math should have been fired!
UU238 1 year ago 3
@UU238 Even I were to use only 50% of my brain I'm sure I would still be more intelligent than you. Buffet and Gates both admitted in numerous interview that they pay a much lower tax rate than their assistant. It's no secret that the middle class in America bare the heaviest tax burden. I can school you all day in the finer points of finance but it would be an exercise in futility. Instead of being jealous of the owner of this cool car, why not get off your lazy butt so you one day buy one?
gsvkck 1 year ago
@gsvkck Google "Who pays income taxes and how much?" and see it for yourself who's bearing the heaviest tax burden instead of yapping nonsense with no facts. Your skull is so thick that your brain can't absorb of what I'm saying. Sure, you're so intelligent that you can't explain why 35% is less than 15% lol. Buffett and Gates have been big Obama supporters in raising taxes, however, I can only believe what they might have said when I actually see their tax returns.
UU238 1 year ago 3
@UU238 Like I stated before "THE MIDDLE CLASS" pays most of the taxes. You don't have to trust me, just go look at the National Taxpayer Union. It's alright to be wrong, but it's pathetic to be wrong and refuse to correct your mistake.
gsvkck 1 year ago
@gsvkck Here you go again! Are you talking to yourself ?!
1) You're the one who refuses to admit you're wrong. You started out with, in your own words, "the top earners in the USA pays a much smaller percentage to income than the average Joe". You're wrong, as I pointed out 35% tax rate for high earners is NOT less than 15% for the average Joe.
UU238 1 year ago
@UU238 I make about 62k a year, and have always consider myself an average Joe. Most people I know feel the same way and never look at themselves more than anything other than an average Joe. You obviously don't make much money otherwise you would know the rich never pays the true rate, but instead uses many tax loopholes. Enough with this bs, I don't want to waste any more time on you and your loser friends.
gsvkck 1 year ago
@gsvkck You make 62k a year. No wonder you have no clue how much tax the 6, 7 figure earners pay. Numbers don't lie, and those thinking that the top earners don't pay their fair share can't argue with the numbers. And you obviously can't. You tend to think with emotion, not fact, logic or intellect. The "middle class" thing has more or less been the left's favorite class envy game.
You started, not me. I don't like repeating myself either. I'd rather talk to a brick wall than you. Goodbye!
UU238 1 year ago
@UU238 The two of you are cut from the same cloth(thick). Yes I make 62k these days because I had to leave my old job, where I use to make 150k-220 depending on sales. So I'm speaking from experience here. In comparison I was able to invest more therefor defer taxes when making 6figures whereas today I spend most of my income on living expenses so in effect pay the true tax rate. I don't think you're able to comprehend all this because you seem to get your info second hand. Got a rich daddy?
gsvkck 1 year ago
@gsvkck
UU238 1 year ago
@gsvkck You've been brainwashed by liberal Democrats for so long that despite of the fact 97% of federal tax revenue being paid by the top 50% earners and you're still saying the middle class bearing the heaviest tax burden in the US. Where is the burden when you at the bottom 50% only pay the rest of 3% dumbass?!!!
gobacktojungle 1 year ago 2
@gobacktojungle Relax before you give yourself an heart attack skippy. The bottom 50% which is poverty or near poverty level pays the least in tax, but you are distorting the fact. The middle class has always been the bread and butter of the American economy. Unlike you I like to speak only when I know about a subject. Dismiss!
gsvkck 1 year ago
@gsvkck Are you suggesting that 50% of Americans live in or near poverty? That's new!!! Your arguments go from bad to worse. You don't seem to know much about the subject, so you're going to shut up, right?
Btw, if UU238 doesn't know how much tax the top earners pay because she is not one of them, what makes you know so much about the rich? Are you one of them because you make 62k a year?!!!
gobacktojungle 1 year ago 4
@gobacktojungle You've made some good points there!
UU238 1 year ago
@UU238 My original point was you have no right to tell people how to spend their money.
gsvkck 1 year ago
@gobacktojungle 50% of Americans are two paychecks away from financial hardship even homelessness. You seem surprise at these numbers, perhaps you been in the jungle for too long? I know about this subject better than most because I've lived on both sides making six figures and now earning 62k a year.
gsvkck 1 year ago
@gsvkck I thought you didn't want to waste any more time on losers. What ticks you off? That 62k comment?!!! I hope that big pay cut is looking really "good" on your resume. And just a reminder, lying is not helping your job search either. You're a salesman and can't convince anyone of anything, how can that be? Go talk to a 5 year old will you?.

It is unacceptable having a Lambo in Saigon to showoff like that. Man! many Rich people do like to showoff about themselves.
aziacks 2 years ago
I don't get your logic. It's o.k. for wealthy people in the U.S. to show off but it's not acceptable for rich people in VN to show off? Am I missing something here? There are tons of people in the U.S. who don't even have homes and young children go to bed hungry at night and it's o.k.?
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
I'm sorry if you don't understand it. The gap between the rich and the poor is too big in VN, so it is more serious in VN. The rich is too rich, and the poor do not have anything at all. ALL RICH people who show off like the one in the LAMBO in the movie should rethink about it rather than showing off like that...how about help out the poor please, especially the children. Of course, it is not OK no matter where. I am talking about the one presented in the video above.
aziacks 2 years ago
" The gap between the rich and poor is too big in VN"
Well, what about the gap of poor and rich in the U.S. How big can it gets when there are hundreds of billionaires and there 700,000-2 millions homeless people in the U.S. Not to mention millions of children go to bed hungry at night. They also do not have anything. Should the rich in the U.S. rethink and do something about it rather then showing off? I rest my case.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
Haha. They don't go hungry like those in VN. There are plenty to go around in the U.S. my friend. Furthermore, there are chances for the poor over here that VN sure DOES NOT have. LOL. What "case" do you have?
aziacks 2 years ago
What make you think Vietnamese people go hungry. Do you have proof? Besides, if you read my prior comments, there are plenty of public and private charities that help the poor and the needy. The mayor of Da Nang vow to keep beggars of the street by organizing programs for the poor and the needy. His program is working since you will see much less beggars than before. I assure you the riches in VN also contribute their wealths. VN is a free market economy, they reap what you sow.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
Besides, the people who are resting on the street are not poor. That is their occupation by selling foods on the street. For example, my uncle is a school principal in VN and he has a decent salary. His wife still still sell food on the street since she doesn't want to stay home. Selling on the street is one way to make additional money. In conclusion, not all are poor. They at least have enough money to make a living by selling foods. Don't be surprise if they even own cell phones.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
VN still is a under-developed/third world country. Maybe catch up to Tawain or S. Korea or so then I will believe you my friend. By the way, have you own a Lambo like the one in the video? Sound rich. :) Cheer!
aziacks 2 years ago
Vietnam is a developing country that grows extremely fast economically. This year, it's considered a lower middle income country. Sooner or later, it will be similar to Taiwan or S. Korea. Like I've mentioned, VN has free market economy similar to the U.S. The people have the chance to be extremely rich. No, I don't own a Lambo., but my cousin own a 100 K mercedes. Yes, there are rich people in VN and they have right to buy luxuries like any other countries. They reap what they sow.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
The super rich ones in VN surely REAP from the poor my friends. The poor are the one who actually SOW. That is why ur cousin have the 100K. :)

This is also true with many Americans. So what is your point? Are you saying they can't even harvest what they sow? This is free market economy my friend. If you are lucky, smart, and work hard, you will succeed. This is true for all free market economies. Maybe I should stop here.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago

aziacks 2 years ago
làm gì phải vn
xuanan77 2 years ago
Sorry, I have to respond because you talk just like a mindless robot.
I hate to repeat myself, the economic growth is NOT a measurment of the standard of living in a country. That's always the case in communist countries like Vietnam and China. The fast-growing economy in VN does not mean EVERYONE would benifit from it, especially people who are not in the communist party circle. It's very simple, because VN economic and political structure was designed to do just that.
UU238 2 years ago
VN will never be similar to Taiwan or S. Korea, ever. Since VN has adopted the so-called "China Model", that is, economic freedom plus political repression. So, if you want to predict the future of Vietnam then look no further than China because Vietnam is just an image of China in the mirror, a decade ago or so.
UU238 2 years ago
Look at China, it has a huge trade surplus with the U.S every year, and yet the standard of living in China is much lower than that in the U.S and other industrialized countries. And this is not accidental but rather intentional from the Chinese communist government. This is the future of VN my friend. Of course, there are some millionaires and billionaires but those belong to the communist party's elite.
UU238 2 years ago
Of course, the super rich and powerful CSVN have every right to do whatever they want and nobody can stop them. But what about the basic rights of millions of Vietnamese there. Do they have the right to vote all the scumbags out? Do they have the right to be critical of their own government without fear of retribution? Do they have the right to form a political party?. Of course not, but you don't care, do you?
UU238 2 years ago
You don't have to use CSVN nonsense statistical data, just ask people in VN this simple question: "Would you like to be poor in the United States or would you like to be poor in Vietnam?".
UU238 2 years ago
I asked all my friends and relatives in VN, the living standard in VN is much better than a decade ago. All of them said they wanted to stay in Vietnam to rebuild the country and have no desire to live in the U.S. I didn't have a chance to ask the poor whether they choose to live in the U.S. or Vietnam, but I assure you they would answer neither since it's tough to be poor in the U.S. as well as VN.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
Keep in mind that a "poor" family in the U.S might not have a lot of cash in the bank but they sure have government check, food stamps check coming every month. And they do have cars, flat screen TVs, DVD, CD players, video game, phone, computer, refrigerator, microwave oven, stove, dishwasher ... a shelter with electricity, hot and cold running water and indoor toilet, you name it. Ask the poor people in VN about these things if you dare.
UU238 2 years ago
There are lots of private and government charities/programs in VN at the moment to help the poor or the needy. In fact, you will find very few beggars in the city of Da Nang since the governor of Da Nang set up many programs to help the poor and needy. If you don't believe me, go and see for yourself. In conclusion, poverty is a problem world wide and no country is poverty free. Maybe I should stop here.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
You keep showing me those statistical data from CSVN without questioning how they came up with those numbers?. Who knows how they came up with those numbers. Too much blind faith can sometimes lead you to trouble. Of course, CSVN never use the U.S criteria because if they do, the VN poverty levels would have been in the 70%!. So, just because the CSVN came up with the same poverty rates, it doesn't mean the poverty in both countries are the same.
UU238 2 years ago
No, the datas that I gave you are from U.S. articles and CIA and I got them from google. There are no statistical datas from CSVN. Please get your fact straight.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
Angeleyes966,
No, the poverty in both coutries are not the same because you are comparing apples to oranges.
UU238 2 years ago
Talk about poverty and freedom, the U.S. is even worse than a third world country like Vietnam. Lets open your eyes and your mind.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
Show me the facts. Let's put them on the table US/Vietnam side by side and compare.
UU238 2 years ago
I'm sorry to say this but I agreed with UU238.
JohnnyLuuVietnam 2 years ago
If you want facts, I'll show you facts. The people who live under the poverty level is 12% for the U.S. and 14.8% for VN according to CIA. The figure for U.S. is in 2004 where the econony of the U.S. is still strong. VN economy grows 6.5% in 2008 and projected to grow 5.2% in 2009. The U.S. economy is projected to contract at least 1% in 2009. With VN growth, it is projected VN poverty level to be reduced to 10% by 2010.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
Poverty is a relative term.
UU238 2 years ago
Yes, poverty is a relative term, but I know for sure that poverty is the same in Vietnam as well as the U.S. What I mean is the condition of poverty. I am a Vietnamese American and I love the U.S. as well as Vietnam. Both Vietnamese and the U.S. governments should find ways to fight poverties. Instead of pounding your chest and say I'm better than you or you should do this or do that, just look at your own problems first. I am sure there are plenty of things that are needed to be done.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago
Let's get together and fight world poverty. That would be the greatest thing we can do to mankind don't you think.
Angeleyes966 2 years ago

So why is obesity becoming an epidemic in America? Because they don't have enough food? Have you heard of Food Banks and Food Stamps?
If what you said were true, the liberal media would have been all over it.

There are obese people in Vietnam too. Besides, the fatty diets and lacks fo exercise plays a major roll in obesity. Since I do not have time, please read an article " U.S. fares poorly in child welfare survey". You can search this article in google.
