Well, that is one interesting question, because, you see, if you ARE awkward, it means you are clumsy. If you create awkward situations, it can also mean that you are clumsy or tactless, but if you do it on purpose, it requires some talent. That does not exclude a certain degree of clumsiness, but it certainly evidences some skill. You can choose what best adapts to you, but I'm pretty sure they are wrong and they don't mean awkward but awesome. Just saying.
