  • his voice isn't "traditionally good". waynce coyne isn't gonna win american idol, but i fucking love his voice.

    it's perfect for the style of music the FLips make and you can tell there's so much emotion behind it..... whether the lyrics make sense or not

  • I would suggest you to stop spending your time and ears only with these mainstream rock groups. They don't have too much to offer you. You should try to train your ears and learn to enjoy some more defying sounds. As the ones produced by The Flaming Lips for example, which by the way are one of the greatest bands of our time. I beg your pardon for any possible disrespect, but that is my humble opion. I believe that good music is just as fine wine. You can learn to appreciate it.
