I remember the first time I heard this..the late Gerry Ryan played it+raved about it capturing the essence of summer at that age.And he was rite!Wouldn't it be nice to be young,in love,casual girlfriends,music,life stretched out ahead of u,seemingly endless summers?Not stuck with a job..if ur ''lucky'' or unemployed now,with a wife,mortgage,predicatable sex,shit weather listening to 60 fukn cent,or whatever hes called.Shakes a fist at the youth of today.

00's music arn't bad but the real music died when the boy bands took over the scene.

I can name some bands that still make good music like Muse, Temper Trap, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay.

Powderfinger, Silverchair, Soundgarden, Ben Folds, Garbage etc. They are good 90's example.

The 90's weren't bad at all, not as good as the 70's or 80's but there were some real gems from the 90's and some very good indie bands. The 00's was a completely wasted decade and the following will be too i fear.

I've absolutely nothing in my collection from the 00's, there's nothing worthy enough to grace my collection from that era. If you've anything to recommend then I'm all ears. Please, no Kylie or boy bands.
