The subject matter you took up for this song is a very difficult one. The range sensations from ecstasy of everything to the abyss of nothing brought on by drugs and drug withdrawal are not what ordinary person would or could share and had experienced. The fact you attempted it marks you out as a poet or exceptionally gifted in empathy.

The music is good. But the note of quiet desperation I looked for and the truncated broke up key are not there full frontal. The darkness has healed. Right?

The darkness has healed. I love music & writing songs because it lets me express, artistically, how I feel at any certain time in my life. This song is about a rough period in my life that took place several years ago. I am happier than ever now, and I'm incredibly thankful for everyday when I wake up.
