I think this video was uploaded for the person to feel closure and get other viewpoints due to feeling guilt over the loss of their Chinchilla and I can safely say I do not agree with it at all and think it is just sad. You filmed your Chinchilla dying? You don't feel guilty enough, you have to rub it in your own face with a video? Do not own anymore Chinchillas because you do not know how to take care of them. This is just ridiculous.
this makes me wanna cry, i never wanna see this happen to my incocent little guy, can you plz tell me what temperature your chinchilla was at to cause this, plz respond??????????????????????????? ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chinchillas cannot be in an environment above 70 degrees. In face 65 is more appropriate for someone to say they didn't know about that is ridiculous given YOU SEE THEM WITH THE MASSIVE FUR COATS ON THEIR BACKS RIGHT?????
..Why would you film something like this? Kinda morbid and disrespectful, don't you think?
Also, you seem to have a large number of pets, some which you take poor care of.. you let your chinchilla die of a heat stroke, handle your gecko poorly to the point that it hates your guts, etc. Maybe you should slow down with the pet collecting and focus on caring for the ones you have.
Im so sorry for your loss. It honestly made me cry watching this. A few months ago my chinchilla had passed away from 'slobbers' it's when they grow teeth spurs. No matter what anyone tells you, you were probably a great owner. People make mistakes. Im sorry :-(
I'm so sorry for your loss. I have a chinchilla and I'm so cautious with her I have a pan in the freezer which when they are going through a heat stroke you put on the pan in the fridge. They should live through it. And lady you had seven hours to go to the vet!
nt to gie u more gult but fr others when this happens you take your chinchilla tto the frige and set him in it and stay with him or you can hold hm watever you want and they sud pas throuhgt fster sry fr ur loss
this makes me cry so hard because i watched my chinchilla die too right in front of me. we spent so much money at the vet just for me to hold my limp baby as he was dying.
The one time my Chinchilla even came close to heat stroke was when we were moving out of our apartment and the door was open for long periods of time while the movers carried furniture out. I noticed my chin was very upset and his ear started turning red and he started huffing and puffing... I picked him up and opened the freezer door and held him in the cool breeze for ten minutes until he was 100% normal again. This is totally preventable and the last fucking thing you should do is record it
if you cannot provide a best temperature for chinchilla den don buy it as a pet ! you Idiot asshole ! let your chinchilla suffer from heat stroke ! if tat chinchilla were you see weather you feel good a not ... people like you should not own a pet! u go and die la .. if u take realli take good care of it & give best temperature for ur chinchilla den dis kind of thing wont happen... you might as well go & die lar .. let a chin get heat stroke ! fcuk you
@shuibin today mine suffered from a heat stroke becasue i didnt know they were that sensitive but i got her in an ac room with a small water sprinkler that drizzles the cage every 10 mins .. then i went online looking for symptoms thats when i figured they suffer severly from heat stroke i also fed her water through a straw to make sure shes no dehydrated.. not every one is a vetenarian to know this stuff until it actually happens...some survive some dont .thats the fucked up nature we live in
Before his death, and when you tried everything to keep him alive; did you ever try to put him in a pan and put ice cubes next him? I heard it helps...
rip :(((( this makes me cry becasue today it was hotter outside and my chinchilla and his little brother(my sisters best friend's chinchilla) were in teh cage and they stayed about 4 hours in the sunlight,i didnt realise that until 4 hours ago....and the little one died (1 year)and mine is struggling to live...he is up in his cage, staying sleepy...WHAT SHOULD I DO HELP?!!!!...should i put him in a wet towel aswell?i had him stay near the air conditioner for 3 hours but i don wanna lose him :(((
@wendy6592123 yeah the poor creature did survive, though it took him 3 full days to be back to 100%normal,i shouldntve get a chin,i got way to attached to him!!!!!i wont give him away cuz...I LOVE HIM!!!!so he will just live all his life with me
my gf's chinchilla died of heatsroke recently, it didnt get to see its first birthday, it was a saphire carrier, she would try and walk around but would fall to her side as she would pant and her breathing was off set, so i took her to my gf's and put her in the freezer to cool off, it worked her breathing was back to normal and she would be able to stay awake, so i put her down she could walk a little fast but was still delerious, she died in her cage, she fell asleep and never woke up :(
I had one also that passed from a heat stroke on a cool day while I was cleaning out the cage. He played too hard in the spare cage and over exerted himself. Like mine, I'm sure yours was an accident and hopefully people will respect that and quick making comments. As for filming the passing.... I wish I would've seen it before mine passed. It would've made it a lot easier to bear knowing what to expect.
obouslyyou dotn know anything about animals, if you did.. YOU WOULD KNOW WHY SHE/HE IS DOING WHAT SHE/HE DID! I TOTTALY AGREE WITH EVERYONE WHO DOESENT SAY WHAT YOU DID.
you obviously didn't try hard enough to avoid the heat stroke... Avoiding a heat stroke staying hydrated and cool (the temper for chins should NEVER be around 75 degree). PLEASE never own another animal since you incapable to provide air conditioning and water.
In defense to your comment on Wendy's sake.... When my two were in the spare cage outside, they had water and it was in the high 60's. One passed, one was perfectly fine. I still have the second one and have learned from my mistake. Accidents happen. I'm not a breeder, but have done extensive research on any pet I've ever owned and my one dying was a total shock, so lay off!
Wow who made you God to make decisions over people who love pets..
the chinchilla wasnt going to die there was a small chance he would live okay. passing through a heat stroke is something serious, what would you know i bet you dont even have any..some people dont know what a heat stroke looks like and they should take action quick by trying 2 cool them off in a damp towel, w/ also cooling the area & putting an ice bag next to him. Ur simply stupid and have 2 see everything in a negative way!
your just A STUPID LOW MINDED ASSHOLE.. if you notice your the only on that has made bad comments on this video..just to clarify this out straight out, if this video really bothers you why did you take the time to watch my video huh!? IGNORANT FAGGOT, people like you dont deserve my time to be explaining why i post my videos! go get a fucken life and let others watch youtube vids for tips.. Have a great day you retarded fuck >.>

Chins are very sensitive to heat, the owner made a mistake! Hope this all shocks you into being super careful with your Chins...

Guys, she probably didn't know that it was dying of heat stoke until it was too late.
And she probably made this video in memory of him.
Yes, I do agree that she shouldn't have filmed him suffering; and she probably could've made a video of happy pictures of him and whatever.
But she probably wanted to show us what can happen to chinchillas when they get too hot.
@wendy6592523
I'm sorry for your loss. It's not easy. I found my first chinchilla Whiskers dead in the morning, when I tried everyth
