It's Judy, so what can you say with respect to the quality of a classic American popular song delivery. Well, I can -- one thing -- LYRICS. When you know this tune as well as I do, it kinda clanks when you hear even one wrong word (and I think this performance has two). Still, it's radio - a live medium. Not sure how to explain a Torme recording of "Isn't a Pity?", where he fudges the lyric, though.
It's strange. I know a million songs, it seems, and I love many of them. But this one--music and lyrics--touches me more deeply than any other....
