i respect that you like tyson. sure.he was a great boxer and at his prime he was hardly to be beaten.but- all the opponents hat no guts.they feared tyson as death.ali wouldnt fear tyson at all..he would beat him as he beat sonny liston.very similar.reach, speed, agility, dancing..thats all for ali not tyson..believe me..tyson would loose againts Ali in 1966...but most of all it would be a grreat bout...thats important.

well isaw your comment on the side of the vid. just like to say its unfair to discredit tyson.he was a great fighter he wasn't a great boxer and great personality like ali but he had speed,power and one of the most impressive lateral movements for any fighter in his prime. one of his biggest flaws was that tyson panics whenever his opponent began to attack. ali was great the most charismatic fighter whoever lived he had speed and footwork. but he had flaws too he leaned back,kept hands low

jesus lad you needa fuck up sometime. I dunno how many boxing vids i've seen you taking psychos when you see someone who likes tyson. Did he rape you or something? Fact is he was a very good fighter when he used Cus d'mato's techniques. He was very evasive with his head movement and had a great combination of speed and power, but he was weak mentally and got easily frustrated. He's not the greatest cause of how things went but he deserves credit for the fighter he was in the short "CUS" period.

leaning back and keeping his hands low was a good thing for ali coz with his speed and footwork it allowed him to move and dodge attacks with ease and keeping his hands low allowed him to deliver his jabs and crosses much faster than they would of if they were up in defensive position. whats the point in wasting energy in keeping your hands up for a defencive stance if your speed and foot work keep you away from on coming powerful blows and snappy jabs?

true true. i was just stating that technically speaking its not a traditional boxing stance or it is not what is taught at gyms just stating that it wasn't text book boxing. it was alis boxing and like you said it worked for ali because of his height advantage. but also saw in the trilogies with frazier that that style and stance as its loop holes as well. but a great percentage of the time it worked for ali. i wasn't trying to bash ali i respect ali and i believe he is the greatest

yeah but what you have to understand is that, the 3yyear exile that ali had suffered from made him stay away from the gym and stop training which in result stopped him from keeping himself trimmed and faster like he was in the 60's. if ali had never been layed of for those 3years his foot speed would of been much faster and he would of stayed away from the frazier hooks much better. but i respect your opinion and it has some valid points to it

well to be honest. im a 6 foot 4 heavyweight boxer.i have around 200 pounds now and 20 more to come..i try to dance like ali in the ring but new boxing is little different then the 60ies.boxers are better prepared now..amateur boxers i mean..profesionals are just stereoids..

Yes boxing is different today but that doesn't mean that dancing is useless if you know how to do it correctly. A prime ALI would be undisputed World Champion today for 10 years in a row or more.

I agree the Shuffle is just to amuse the public and if you have tried it in the ring you will know that it takes a lot of energy to do a Shuffle and then launch a "one-two". A prime Ali 60's didn't care at all about wasting some more energy doing it becasue he was in great condition, but other fighters, even if they know how to do it, don't do it because the shuffle is basically useless.
