@PMATCB That just because too many movies show vietnam in jungle. But there were some cruesome citifights and Im glad they tryed something new. Some things I liked more in first game like having my own office with radio and briefings and also finding letters flags and wife photos in pockets of enemies. In second game, I liked more the physical model weapons and larger scale battles not just small aquad ops like int first game. I think both of them complete each other. Plus Vietcong great.

I still cant believe i beat "Last bridge to hue" on vietnam mode... its you vs the entire world (probably to prevent u from overusing ur invencible squad of dummies). I like the wide range of weaponry on this game. Btw dont u hate it when those guys hit u with their bare heads LOL u dont even see their gun

@emmthreejonny Well i used to own it and i thought it was great, only nam game better is probably Conflist Vietnam.Another good one though that hardly gets any credit is Men of Valor.Think it was done by a break away team from medal of honor. Had that on the Xbox 1 and its quite a hardgame, it really does put you in the jungle where you can hardly see your hand in front of your face.Very claustrophobic and probably as close as you can get to being in Nam.

@Saxonsoldiers - I played Men of Valor, I thought it was visually awesome and really gives the feeling of a Nam movie. I just thought it was difficult on some parts and I hated their save system. They could have polished that game's technical aspects more.

@emmthreejonny Your right about the difficulty, i do not think i even completed, remember being stuck on one mission in paticular and it was a hill with bunkers on it.was stuck on for months and just could not beat it.But i loved the you were operating in tight linear area (one mission that stood out  was patrolling a river) then all of a sudden you turn a corner and theres space and vietcong everywhere.If its 360 compatable im going to get it again,if its not then im geting an xbox 1 1/2

Ich habe Vietcong 2 nur kurzzeitig im Multiplayer gespielt. Dafür habe ich lange Zeit Vietcong 1 gespielt. Seit 2004, allerdings mit Pausen dazwischen. Mittlerweile ist es schon einige Monate her, dass ich eins der beiden Teile gespielt habe. Spielst du noch? Das Spiel ist nie wirklich ausgestorben, obwohl es oft so aussah.

Kann man eigentlich wie beim ersten teil auch im einzelspieler irgendein gefecht starten(also nicht Kampagne), wo man eine map auswählt und die zahl der gegner und waffen bestimmt, und wie viele mitglieder dein team hat, ist das dort auch so?

Du kannst jede Mission, die du in der Kampagne absolviert hast, nochmal als Einzelmission starten. Da kannst du deine Waffen und den Schwierigkeitsgrad bestimmen. Du kannst aber nicht mehr, so wie früher, dein Team und die Gegneranzahl bestimmen.

@NeoStrike1 oh das ist scheiße, da fehlt ja sehr viel an fun...also das spiel ist bestimmt hammer, aber ohne gefechtmodus, fehlt einfach etwas bestimmtes. Wäre doch geil gewesen, in der stadt so team gegen vietcongs, also wie im 1 teil. Trotzdem gutes gameplay, du bist dir da aber trotzdem sicher? Ich weis dass das game etwas älter ist, aber mir machts halt fun.

Ich habe nachgeschaut. Du kannst nur die Waffen und den Schwierigkeitsgrad bestimmen, nicht das Team oder die Anzahl der Gegner.

naja.... ich glaubeich bleib beim teil 1.....und welchen teil würdest du so empfehlen, also nicht von der grafik her(ich sehe nicht so einen "riesigen unterschied", außer das wennn man anvisiert) sondern vom gameplay und fun?

Wie ich bereits sagte, gefallen mir persönlich beide Teile. Ich kann nicht sagen, dass ein Teil besser ist als der andere. Ein Teil hat sowohl Vor- als auch Nachteile gegenüber dem anderen Teil.

Ich kann dir wohl sagen, dass die Bewegungen bei Vietcong 1 recht geschmeidig sind. Bei Vietcong 2 sind sie sehr direkt.

Das Spiel spielt tatsächlich fast nur noch in Städten oder Dörfer. Die Dschungel-Touren sind hier, mehr oder weniger, vorbei.

Jeder hat eine eigene Meinung darüber, welches Vietcong ihm gefällt. Ich persönlich finde beide Teile gut. Beim ersten Teil gefällt mir das einfache Gameplay und die Tiefe der Story. Der zweite Teil gefällt mir, weil man, wie schon erwähnt, viele Städte und Dörfer sieht. Die Missionen sind auch keinesfalls schlecht.
