Mulally is a hell of an engineer and his decisions concerning the Boeing's 777 project (his project) is in my opinion what saved boeing and American commercial aviation. Alan is not there to make friends, he is there to turn that sinking ship around. He is probably the best available American,if not person period for the task. He isn't just a suit like Nasser or a rich kid inheritor like Ford... he is a real engineer and a shark of an administrator, strategist.
I totally agree. The fortunate ones had the great opportunity to work under him know his talents well. Ford is lucky to have him. Boeing's loss, Ford's gain.
