Some people's hair goes white pretty early. I know my uncle had a head full of gray hair by the time he was 40, some have it happen to them even earlier like Taylor Hicks. Not sure exactly what causes it, but it happens.

Well, let's see...His CD out Dec. 2006, Spring and summer National "solo" tour to over 130+ cities...putting together a fantastic band, and a few gigs in Jakarta, Indonesia and in the Philippines. He is NOW working and writing for his new CD for 2008, and will have a live concert DVD out soon as well "Whomp at the Warfield".

He hopes to tour back in Asia as well as Europe in 2008. He has been a part of many charity events...his latest playing BB for the NBA All-Star celebrity game in New Orleans, and recently was asked to sing for the wedding couple on Live with Regis & Kelly. He's not only a gifted musician, but also a very caring and sincere man.

Being a Taylor fan, I was actually worried that he'd do worse than he did. There were definately some rough patches, and at least he tried to make it sound good. I would recommend that Taylor turns down any more offers to sing the national anthem, as that song is very well known and very hard to sing. He's great in his own element, but take him out of it, and he can be very shaky. It was certainly not the worst rendition however. Soul Patrol!

That was truly wonderful. I love Taylor. He wasn't my #1 choice for the winner of American Idol, but he's a fantastic performer. I wasn't sure what to expect when I heard he was going to sing the anthem, but I am wowed. There are songs of his that I love, and others not so much, but he always gives it his all and never disappoints his fans. Bravo Taylor.
