@mrlithic Completely separating bikes & cars works really well. Ever been to Holland?

Cyclist movements will often be unexpected due to road surfaces etc, which is why the highway code recommends drivers give as much room to a bike as they would a car.

Most cars do not want to hit you, but even if 1% do........

Most of the time it's just lazy contractors, lack of use or lack of cleaning/maintenance. Often they sweep the road but not the cycle lane, so you get broken glass, grit and all sorts in there. And drivers wonder why cyclists prefer to use the road instead; at least it's a little bit cleaner and smoother to ride on.

It was done in after effects - and was a direct copy of the tutorial by Andrew Kramer of VideoCopilot. Put VideoCopilot in Google - click on tutorials and loook at tutorial no 34:Fly By Titles - you can even download teh project file there - good luck
