We did this when I was a student at the University of Stirling in the early 80s. Fantastic day out, similar to your day. We had a group of about 20, so it was a bit slow at times. Not one to take on in bad weather.
I done this yesterday. Some route. Not for people who are scared of heights that's for sure. Weather was amazing and the views from the ridge itself were superb.
Well worth doing if you want to move from basic walking to a little bit of terror!!!
Done this when I was only 13 with my dad and uncle was amazing!

Climbed the ridge at the weekend. It isn't overly scary. We moved quite fast over the pinnacles - ended up doing the entire route in 4 hours.
