It's all about what you make of it. "I want it that way" could be interpreted as a multilayered analogy to the duality of personal opinion. Our preferences and choices in life are representative of our individual life choices and backgrounds and henceforth prove our inability to ever fully objectively perceive matters in question rendering us eternally subjective to our decisions. "That Way" in question, represents the fully personal independently exclusive preferences people have.
