actually, Jesus was a Jew. his cult was really more of an offshoot of Judaism. you can see this particularly after his death when Peter and Paul were sort of in a battle over who the next leader should be. though Jesus tells Peter he is the next leader, Paul sort of took over and created what would eventually become the Christian cult, though it wasn't called that until after Rome adopted it.
and before you get upset, i use the word 'cult' in a historical context, not literal

Obviously there will be resentment to a group of people who make up 0.2% of the worlds population and receive the overwhelming majority of media coverage.
I noticed by the age of 10 all my fav cartoons had really heavy Jewish episodes like Hanukkah, Passover, Bot mitzvah etc, I found it odd cause i had never even met a Jew in my life.
But never once did i see anything about Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists etc all of which people around me actually practiced.
