The Hundred Years War is nearly the best mod for Mount&Blade at the moment. New map, textures, skins, armors, weapons, horses. New menus and music. It is great, probably one of the best known mods out there too. This is my opinion though, if you'd like to download it just google, "Mount&Blade The Hundred Years War"

1. Yes, in a sense. This is more of a medieval times simulator I guess, but yeah, you DO have stats, levels and you CAN join several factions (You also have a somewhat backstory when you first start, that basically decides whether or not you become someone who shoots arrows, uses a sword, or sneaks around with daggers and shit.

2. Nope! Definitely not :D and there are a LOT of options to chose from if your FPS is low

3. Honestly, 18/20

Ok, first it's not a role play like oblivion etc., there are dialogues but they are there for basics (which faction do I choose, only written etc). System req's aren't that high, unless you don't get really many fighters at once at the battle field ;) I think it's really good, best combat-system I played so far, lots of good mods...so 20/20

Dialogue: You can have conversations and make choices but it's very limited

Allegiance and free to run around though, ya. You can explore everything and have full choice of who to join and fight.

I would call this game more action/strategy than role playing but ya.

System requirements are pretty low I think.

The RP is what you make of it. I suggest you create yourself a character, and go with it. My current RP character happens to work for Rhodok...but does so only to eventually replace Graveth, for sins done earlier in life.

He's got motivation, a secret cause, and -eventually - will probably cause a civil war in Rhodok. I also played one as a general-type. RP is always what you make of it, and there are plenty of options to have lots of fun.

Easy reqs, I'd say 17/20. Good game.

what i do is i send out all my calvary, and they chase after the enemy clalvary, and i just mow down the infantry with my two handed axe, and when reinforcements arrive, i just continue to mow down the infantry, and when the game won't let any more reinforcements come, i chase after the last calvary and take them out one by one

and then I rebelled

And now I rule my own rogue kingdom, with two castles, two capitals and at least 7 or 8 villages.

Poor Vaegirs, I ate a good part of their kingdom :)

And for battles, I charge the ennemy with my cavalry, so when my infantry and archers arrive, they just need to finish them off.

I used to love this game in the beta but got to quite a high level and got a bit bored with just going from castle to castle and sacking them all. Presumably the full version is released by now - is the story/end game a bit more fleshed out? I still love the look of the engine - the mounted fighting is some of the best I've ever seen.
