Will take your advice, Thank you for taking the time to reply, Will start to pin mine down now as its quite cold in the loft now!! Any tips on pinning down flexitrack will be most welcolme! All the best.

Make sure you have a good sharp saw ( or a dremel) to cut off the excess track and just take your time.

How does the layout cope with extremes of temperature? Does the track move much when its very hot? Building one myself so would appreciate any comments, Thanks, Cracking layout you have, Like to see it when its finished.

I always leave gaps (not large gaps when setting the rails, do this in cold weather and when hot the track will expand and when cold the track will be right.

to tell the truth it copes better than me with the cold!!!

what do you use to clean your track?

A hornby Track cleaning Rubber, and sometimes an old Triang track cleaning wagon with the soft pad soaked in Meths.

Hope this is of some use.

Every 2 Weeks, and it takes between 1 to 2 hours
