last night I opened the freezer and I saw some water bottles in it and they weren't frozen yet and I had seen videos about this and I was like... "this is bullshit" and I decided to try this myself. When I hit the first bottle it didn't do anything, nore the second, nore the third. then I was like. this youtube thing is fake. I decided then to try it once more and when I hit it it froze just like that one in the video :| and when I oppened the bottle to touch the ice I noticed that it was closed
uh this happens to all water if u leave water in the freezer for a certain amount of time and expose it to heat it frezzes wel actualy it slushes idw it happens but u didnt discover anything awsum
@cursemarkfan You ignorant kid. That is not sodium ethanoate. The crystal structure of CH3COONa is monoclinic while that of water is tetrahedral. Also if it were Sodium Ethanoate how could water condense on a hot bottle. Have you ever heard of supercooling??? Your brain must have slow metabolism thus it is fueled by ignorance.
@CuteNpurrfic um i said sodium acitate not ethanoate and super cooling is bringing a substance below freezing point without it actualy freezing and i comented on this video befor i learned that super cooling was a common thing and you seem a little to smart to be a troll on a comment a year old
i left it in freezer for about 2 1/2 hours but you just need to guess,
put a beer/water in freezer
wait 20 mins, put another one in
keep looking at the first one like every 15 mins
after a couple of hours, it will have frozen, and the second one shouldnt have, the time the second one has been in for is how long you need to leave it in the future
no its actually supercooling, the water is put in the freezer undisturbed for a period of time, from ab out 2-3 hours, but if left in there too long it freezes. the water itself is actually 32 degrees or below, but hasnt froze yet. when it gets disturbed, its freezes into a sort of slush.
wat you do is put the bottle into ur freezer for a while.the way you make it not freeze in the freezer is to not open it and also remove all bubbles. thoes little tiny bubbles act as some enzyme crap or sumthing
well if you just like flick the bottle where the little bubbles are and send them to the top and stuff, your bottle with work. just put it in the freezer then after a while take it out and shake it
you stick it in the freezer for an hour and a half (unopened) then take it out and tap the top, and then watch! it works with like gatorade and stuff too
this is called super cooling . This happens when you cool water below its freezing temperature. When you shake it or add an ice crystal to the super cooled water it begins to freeze rapidly . This is a very good example of super cooling
it's a process called "Super Cooling" the idea is to get the water to subfreezing temperatures before it actually freezes. Once it gets to this point, a disturbance in the water will cause it to freeze right before your eyes.
Get a bottle of water, spring water, not tap... Tap water has too many other things in it.
Put it in your fridgerator (not freezer) overnight so it can get cold.
Take it out and put it in the freezer for about an hour. After that hour is up, open up the freezer. The water at this point should be below freezing temperature.. be careful taking it out.. movement is what causes it to freeze.
You can slap it hard on a surface, or just shake it to watch it freeze instantly.
Wow that's awesome
