  • DEE DEE DEE!

  • He's saying, "I'm not just the Hair Club Team Captain, I'm also a client."

Either that, or he's saying, "I'll get you someday, Superman!"

  • Messier has been brain dead for years.

  • like all THUGS, it's brain dead !

  • what a helmet head eh

  • that's what happens when your playing professional hockey at 17 instead of attending high school!!

  • thdee dede dededdeee

  • LMAO!What the heck? And I thought listening to Jiri Hudler speak was bad, lol.

  • HE is a dirty , fucking bitch hitter

  • sounds like obama

  • What ? thats how THUGS talk .

  • daa duh daaaaa duh duh da thats all folks

  • Too many elbows to the dome.

  • Er 2 without him, one in Edmonton and one in Edmont-i mean- New York.

  • Fuck you Messier! Ruined our franchise.

  • You armchair forwards all need to show this man respect.

  • Betcha can't pronounce just one

  • stick to hockey bud

  • no player in NHL history has been more of a cheap-shot artist than messier. there may be no player in any sport who is a better example of poor sportsmanship. he would never stick up for himself against any hockey tough guy. there's lots of video that shows how cowardly he was during his career. having heard him talk in several interviews while he was in vancouver, this clip is no revelation. he always sounds like he went to school on the 'short bus'. hockey is a better now that he's gone.

  • @SheepOnDrugz too bad he's got the 2nd most points in history and he's in the hall of fame

  • @SheepOnDrugz "no player in NHL history has been more of a cheap-shot artist than messier"

Scott Stevens and Ulf Samuelsson say hello

  • take another whack on the pipe mark

  • duh da da da rangers will suck again this year duh da da...

  • 6 months ago i couldn't even spell hockey player now i are 1 ta duh duh duh

  • first of all the #11 was not ever retired by the canucks nor will it,any time soon.I actually liked messier from his oiler days and team canada I'm just trying to explain why so many canuck fans are pissed at his wasted time here.ranger fans are always the same so full of themselves, hey if it wasn't for the nhl handing you guys the cup in 94 you'd still be in a drought!!!!at least my teams future looks brighter than yours....one word BOOGARD wtf what a joke!!!!

  • @goog1967 well i am a rangers fan and i will agree with u that the oilers are great. but its wierd how as soon as they got gretzky they just started winning cups...

  • @mattyboyy11 In 1979, the Edmonton Oilers became a NHL franchise. The Oilers never "got" Gretzky. Gretzky was already on that team. Please do your research before you make jackass comments.

  • Mark messier was a great player no question but only because of the players he was playing with ie gretzky kurri mactavish lowe when he went to the Canucks he made 25 mil on the 3 seasons he played and no playoffs appearances this guy was brought in to lead the Canuck team somewhere and couldn't make the playoffs in his last 7 years in the NHL he was also one of the cheapest player in his time with that flying elbow ask modano and linden about that

  • A gleaming example of one of hockey's "leaders". It when he's not able to tink and/or process things clearly (or at all) that he'd be going for a head shot right about now. Too bad there's no contact in commentating. Messier: The most overrated sack of shit in hockey history.

  • @MartyMoves He can't hear or see what you're saying.. He has 2 of his cup rings in his ears, 2 in his eyes and still wearing 2 in his fingers.

  • @11DNA11 Thanks to Gretzky. Yes he won one without him, but the team was already established by the Great One. He's second all time in points but he never gets put in the top 10, or even 20 players of all time. Hmmmmmm....why is that?

  • @stizz19 Won 2 without Gretzky.

  • @stizz19 I'll tell everyone why, he has played 1756 games. He had an exceptionally long career.

  • rofl

  • @NewYorkRangers1926 fuck you he is a fucking fag and should not be allowed to wear a Canadian jersey for what he did in Vancouver

  • @ImKoolWithThis What play injured like a true player? I love how Canuck fans get so offended when Messier gets bought up. He was hurt, and was having injury problems when he came to you guys, get over it. Plenty of teams have had that happen, it's part of hockey. To say that he doesn't deserve to wear a Canada jersey is incredibly stupid after all he did Edmonton and Canada in general. You are even incredibly immature, or just still sour from '94.

  • @NewYorkRangers1926 get your facts straight!!!most canuck fans dislike him cause of his meddling with the team chemistry(he was bought in to make the next step, not to be co-gm with the equally messed up keenan)him and his bum buddy mike totally ruined a team that was still close to competing for the cup!!!so that's why he's disliked not ranger envy!!!

  • @goog1967 Or it could be because he demanded to wear a number that was retired? Please, Canucks fans are constantly making excuses to why they hate him. He was injured when he came to VAN and therefore, he couldn't play as well as he used to. He demanded to take a number that was already retired, but it isn't the end of the world.

Canucks fans have been making excuses for the real reasin of hating him. He destroyed their cup run in '94. I'm sure seeing him lift the cup still hurts.

  • too bad all his points came as a second liner, fucking fake

  • @NewYorkRangers1926 ---- Question: How many OILERS and HAWKS players did it take to win the cup for N.Y. in 1994? Answer:14 --- Messier surrounded by OILER and HAWK players = great player! - Messier surrounded by N.Y. Ranger players = great golfer! ---- 1994 LETS GO OILERS!

  • @ghytgb whats ur point ??? he told the news that he would deliver a cup with n.y ....and he did....he is in the h.o.fame....and he probably should not be in the booth, but he is a hall of famer , show respect, forget who ur favorite team is , who gives a shit?? maybe u would like to get on the ice with messier?? i assure u it would not be enjoyable with his elbows bashing ur little skull against the glass!! think about it.......i know what im talking about , i played for a living for 8 years.

  • @terdburgler99 - he never told anyone anything. he never made that prediction! there is no video of him saying it and he had 20 hours between the time the newspaper went out to the start of gm 6 and he didn't step up to the mic! it was a stunt to hype up hockey in N.Y.. everyone in the N.Y. POST knows he never made the prediction. I did see Peter Laviolete make the gm 7 "we will win" prediction against the Bruins but that for some reason was not hyped up as much as Messiers fake prediction.

  • @terdburgler99 - Just because you went to school with a helmet on doesn't mean you played hockey! i played on the Chicago Blackhawks for 10 yrs! Messier never predicted anything! It's a fact!

  • Comment removed

  • @terdburgler99 - So you're saying everyone that has more cups then Messier are better players like Trottier and Henri "The Pocket" Richard! -- Teams win cups not individuals! - Messier played on a Dynasty team! Every player on that TEAM won the cup not just Messier! Messier not surrounded by Edmonton Oiler teammates = Great Golfer!

  • Messier was dreaming of cock again.

  • mrceebees14, you know NOTHING about hockey by trying to dis Messier. Top 3 NHL players of ALL TIME, if not Number 1.

    You sir, are a faggot.

  • Definitely top 5 all-time and he's definitely number 1 when it comes to best all-around player ever...not to mention his leadership...best if not tied with Yzerman.

  • @WiIliamShatner top 3? lol he's good but not top 3.

  • @WiIliamShatner You are correct, anyone who disses messier is an Idiot but a faggot has nothing to do with it.. ;-P just looking out for ya

  • @WiIliamShatner Star Trek sucks even more then Messier, and that is a-lot of sucking considering Messier is a well known homosexual.

  • The Rangers are the definition of "insane," doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over............................ again and expecting a different result.

The Rangers were never cursed, that is so easy to say instead of dealing with the truth.

The truth being that the Rangers are just plain stupid and have no one else to blame but themselves.

7 straight seasons without making the playoffs to the tune of half a BILLION dollars spent.

    Retarded.....

  • 54 year drought ha

Who the hell goes that long without winning at least one championship? You fucking loser.

  • The Leafs?

  • I forgot about Toronto.

Edmonton Chicago Toronto Rangers of 1994

  • u know its funny...the fact that we went through that 54 year drought but still remained loyal to our team...wouldnt that just make that much better?...no doubt ur retort will be "no it just makes u that much more stupid/retarded/blind/desperate/etc."...i mean really, could u stay loyal to ur team if u faced the same situation?.."oh we're the best we would never be put in that situation" no doubt is wut u think..dare i ask ur favorite team? if i were to guess itd be either the devils or penguins

  • @UnknownSoldier02

Remained loyal? Corporate suits remained loyal to their wineing and dinning of clients to boost their business and close deals. That isn't loyalty, that is called business and the power of the almighty dollar which is greater than your hockey club.

  • im talking loyalty as fan u tool...54 years w/o a cup and now going on 15+...but the Garden is still sold out almost each and every night...honestly, it amazes me in how much of an emotional bias the world has with NY sports teams..i swear u guys spend more time looking into wut goes on with our teams then u do with ur own club...if the things that go on in our club were to go on in another, and believe me they do, u wouldnt pay it any mind cus they're not NY

  • to look back at wut u said about Mess not deserving it...i realize now y u feel that way...no one, not any other fan of any other team can possibly understand the full extent to wut he accomplished...do u honestly understand how much was riding on that season? the amount of pressure and weight that was put on that team?..no u cant...cus u werent there...u werent there in NY to hear all the talk about what was expected of this team...to see the headlines...u werent there

  • Messier took all that weight upon himself..and through all that pressure he took that team and brought the cup back to NY for the first time in 54 years...now, u sit there, safely in front of ur monitor, eating wutever junk food u can afford w/ ur pathetic life, all while reading "whats fucked up in NY today" and u say he doesnt deserve it?..u r the most ignorant, pathetic, anti-NY fan i have ever had the pleasure of putting down...so please do tell me all the fucked up things NY teams have done

  • He is still a homo.

  • I Like Sonics!

  • He accomplished what he did because of the supporting cast.

Same goes for Gretzky, who benefited from 1) his teammates and 2) the leagues unwritten rule of "do not touch gretzky." If you remember there was a player that blasted him into the boards and gretzky just sat there and couldn't belive that someone actually hit him. That player never played another game in the NHL because he was blackballed for hitting that princess.

Gretzky's career would have last 2 years if not for that rule.

  • Sold out with most of those sell outs corporate sales.

The garden is full of white collar douchebags who don't know a puck from a ball.

  • wow..do u have any use for ur ass? or does all that shit just spew from ur mouth?...seriously all u have talked about is "corporate sales" and ur trying to say the Garden Faithful know nothing about hockey? cus thats wut hockey is about, right? business deals and corporate management..ur fucking ridiculous..pleeeaaaaase tell me ur favorite team..so that i may come to understand why your mindset is as it is

  • @UnknownSoldier02

Look at how many posts you have made, better take a look at yourself before you point that dirty finger my way.

What I have said is fact, you are obviously very offended by remarks made at the Rangers, especially the mumbleing, studdering Messier in this video.

    Well..............too bad.

  • shit, i've been dealing with insults about the Rangers for years..it is not something that can offend me so easily...what offends me is when some punk can come in and ignorantly state a player like Mess doesn't deserve what he has gotten

  • okay dumb shit dont wright a fucking SA when you comment

  • @ImKoolWithThis

umm no ones telling you to read..although it probably wouldnt hurt...im so sorry but i didnt realize writing was for "dumb shits"...im guessing you're mexican or something..either that or you just failed English a few times...i believe you meant "write" and "essay"...kudos for trying though

  • @ImKoolWithThis

or maybe you just thought i was writing San Antonio...in which case i apologize

  • He is definitely gay.

  • wtf he studders?

  • sounds like pierre mcguire minus the homosexuality

  • daaaa duh duh duh duh

  • LMAO, i can't stop watching it.... 8 times to get full value... lol.

  • What a retard.

  • dah dah duuuuuuuuuuuuuu daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

  • blublulubpitsuburghbubble bubble boo .....the mouth and the brain are not in sequence good thing because he was an awesome player setting his own records and to become 2nd all time points above Howe and below top player Gretzky ...perhaps the greatest player ever because without him I doubt Gretzky would have come even close to his records .

  • you are fucking dumb

  • haha babasbciulsavdkjsugvpsab; ahhah

  • Is this John Madden? Woah, nice haircut, John!

  • Mark Messier has just been named greatest Vancouver Canuck ever !!!

  • More like worst Canuck ever.

  • Even if he did suck, nothing ever could compare to how shitty your life is at peak.

  • thats fucken priceless

  • and they're waiting for the dub da dub da...

  • HAHAHA

  • Personally, I think a speech impediment is a small price to pay. He has fame, fortune, and was a fantastic hockey player. Meh...I'd take it.

  • Greatest Hockey Player To Play The Game

  • Irregardless Mess rules.

  • lol irregardless

  • lol!the best captain ever

  • I LOVE MARK MESSIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • didn't he win 5 cups with the oilers and have his number retired there too?

  • Yes, and rightfully so he deserved it without any doubt.

But now we move on to New York, he wins one measly cup and they retire his number. Shows you how desperate and pathetic that franchise is to win anything.

Just look at them now, 55 million dollar team with 2 good players on it. How does that happen? Chris Drury is their captain and he sucks, he is now playing on the 4th line.

    P A T H E T I C

  • New York owes that Cup to the Edmonton Oilers, there were like 7 or 8 ex-Oilers in that team, all acquired at almost the same time

  • And about 4 Chicago Blackhawks on it as well.

  • and I wondered who pushed them to do that? look at the stats dumbshit

  • and that's probably about the only original Rangers in that team that year, everyone else was bought or traded in

  • ummm...being that Neil Smith bought and traded for those players and Mike Keenan coached them...im pretty sure we only owe the victory to them and the team itself...its not as if these players were just given to us so that we could win

  • @UnknownSoldier02

Being that nearly all of those trades were cash trades (something you can't do in the modern NHL) I would say the Rangers out and out bought that team. Messier for Louie DeBrusk and Steve Rice? You are fucking kidding me right? But what else was in that trade? Ah! The four million in cash that was handed over to Edmonton. Esa Tikkanen for an unproven talent in Doug Weight? MacTavish for unproven Todd Marchant? How did they trades go through?

  • @UnknownSoldier02

They went through because BOAT LOADS of cash were involved, in this NHL that wouldn't happen and 1940 would be still ringing in your ears.

The Rangers basically cheated the sport, and not only with these bogus trades, but what they did in the NHL front office. Every trade is reveiwed by the NHL commissioner, he can veto a trade if he feels it will hurt the sport. No one thought the NHL would stand for what the Rangers were doing, but he amazingly allowed it.

  • @UnknownSoldier02

And why is that yah think? Because the Rangers have a-lot of pull in the NHL, especially when you have guys like Colin Campbell and John Muckler in your back pocket because they are part of your organization. It all comes down to dollars and who better to be an NHL cash cow of the team then the Rangers. They knew if the Rangers won a cup the profits would be through the roof..........and they were right.........150% right.

  • @UnknownSoldier02

But by allowing this to happen, it showed how pathetic the Rangers were and always have been when it comes to winning. The NHL literally had to spoon feed the Rangers to that cup, because there was no way the Rangers could win otherwise.......and everyone knew it.

The Rangers never got it, they never understood that to win the whole thing (especially in the playoffs) you need character players, not names on the backs of the jerseys that had success elsewhere.

  • "One measly cup" Bahaha, youre the typical jerkoff who watches hockey and doesn't play it. You realized that you just discredited Mark Messier for ONLY winning ONE Stanley cup with the Rangers? What kind of asshole does that? YOU ..... Messier play 10 Seasons with the Rangers, only 2 less than with Edmonton. Winner of the Hart tropy several times, Second all time in points, the list goes ON AND ON. Id love to see you do anything in life an became 1/10th the legend Messier is. Fucking bitch u are

  • im sorry but i dont get ur logic...ur saying a player NEEDS to win multiple cups to deserve having his number retired?..while i'll agree that our team is pretty fucked right now...Drury is no captain but we have Tom Renney to blame for that..just giving our captaincy over to whoever our best player at the time was..Jagr for instance (wtf)..but to say Mess doesnt deserve it!...the fact is, regardless how few years he spent in NY..he is and probably always will be the greatest captain we ever had

  • im correcting myself...i meant to say regardless of how he only won us one cup...but the kids logic is just baffling

  • Time has definately caught up with Messier...

  • Huh????

  • yeah i totally noticed how the th the t th th the forwards were wa wait wa waiting fo for for the the first pass as well :P
