Wow. That sounds strangely reminiscent of my first Con experience. I was very new to anime and knew nothing about Cons except that people dressed up. I was cosplaying Kenshin, and as I was walking down this long hallway to get to the convention on my very first day, this girl came sprinting at me from the other end yelling KEN-SAN!
