Unresponsive like lagging, when i first twist the throttle and let out the clutch it lags for 1 sec i'd say.

Does anybody know why or what causes an unresponsive throttle response? I test drove a cr250 2001 today because i need to by one, and i decided not to because of that problem. I would just like to know so i can further educate myself. Thanks

Hell yeah, i have a yz 250 and a crf 450 and i feel the yz has alot more power..

Your a fine size for it....2 strokes are so much fun i never get bored of them! You should probably test ride one though because a 250 is alot of bike for a 13 year old. Have fun and be safe.

well if you don't have a friends that you can test ride i would recomend just looking on craigslist for a used bike. Most dealers don't sell 2 strokes anymore unless your getting a ktm or a yamaha (which is the best 250 anyways.) And you would be paying full price for a new bike. If you go on craigslist you can find a cheaper bike and most people will let you test ride it if they have a deposit in case you wreck the bike. Good luck searching for bikes :)
