and you know soldiers want booty and the military is well aware of that. there's a lot you don't hear about. lot of booty calls that never show up on tv. there're two worlds in this world. there's the world inside war and there's whatever else is left after the butchering and pillaging is done.

besides, when you submit yourself to the war machine, you're paying hte ultimat sacrifice. most authorities give you slack. and after you've been through some blood and fireworks, so much of yoru mind is gone that you almost feel like you deserve sex even if it's a rape of a moneyless whore in some obscure crime filled village filled with people who a day before wanted you dead.

and it's why soldiers will rape innocent women. why? cuz they could get killed that day. guys are dying all around you. this may be your last chance to get some booty. it's not fancy. sometimes you can't afford to be polite about it when bullets are flying and everythig you leanred at home turns out to be a load of BS. fact is our world is a mess and the only way we've found to reign it in is through war. war is nothing pretty and it's almost as bad as what it's trying to fix. we're all crazy.

that's why some soldiers will laugh when a guy is spilling blood from a dozen holes in his upper body. it's why they pull jokes when the fires of hell are all around them. war gets so crazy and the FEAR is so strong, that sometimes that only way to respond is to make a joke out of it and share it with friends and hope that when you get home the authorities don't send come to your door and lock you up for life for some stupid thing you did when you were on duty.

the blood rage is insanity. it's craziness. it's a complete loss of what you learned at home. it's just survival instinct and a deep inner struggle to live in the midst of a hell deeper than anything you've ever dreamt before.there's nothing fancy about it, nothing heroic, just pure fear, survival instinct, and if you're against it, blood rage. some of htem are so gone that they don't even look at who they're firing at.

a friend told me from military that a lot of the soldiers he knew would fire indiscrimintely in a blood rage. he says for some of htem it was a protest against the war and a response to the constant day by day sense of mortal death. imagine living each day as though it will be your last. imagine commanders throwing your face in the mud and not being happy until you get every gun pointed in your face and you've sacrificed every last bit you can. you'd starting shooting indiscrimintely too.
