You guys know the challenger must be the aggressor of the fight in a title match right? JMM was clearly NOT the aggressor because he's style was to block Manny's punches and land a counter. So it looked like to most people that JMM won the fight because he landed a great amount of very good looking counter on Manny but the judges weren't deceived by JMM. Pacquiao style was very aggressive in the later rounds and did land a couple of punches on JMM..

Total Punches: Pacman thrown 578 and landed 176 while Marquez thrown 436 and landed 138.
Power Punches: Pacman thrown 274 and landed 117 while Marquez thrown 254 and landed 100. Both total and power punches Marquez did not dominate at all. Pacman was the more active fighter and had the ring generalship. Marquez was very good but was conservative towards the later rounds and did not dominate Pacman overall. If you are to take the belt, you should take it and not just hope for mercy.

You guys know the challenger must be the aggressor of the fight in a title match right? JMM was clearly NOT the aggressor because he's style was to block Manny's punches and land a counter. So it looked like to most people that JMM won the fight because he landed a great amount of very good looking counter on Manny but the judges weren't deceived by JMM. Pacquiao style was very aggressive in the later rounds and did land a couple of punches on JMM..
I still think it should've been a draw..

JMM didn't finish well on most round and the cut on Manny's eye was due to a headbutt by JMM. (10 -9); 1 KnockDown (10-8); 2 KD (10-7); If a judge can't decide who won the round, it's (10-10). Now, if you are the challenger, you must be the aggressor. Otherwise, in very close rounds, the Champion gets the 10. So, if MP (Champ) would just stay still and JMM (Challenger) does not attack, MP gets 10 and JMM 9.
