This movie stands on its own as the greatest Animated movies of all time
it doesn't deserve being compared with other Disney movies, such as Beauty and the Beast or The Lion King, it should be compared with Avatar, Gone with the Wind, or The Wizard of Oz, which wouldn't have existed without Snow White. The movie defined a Generation, i bet you a million dollars that there isn't a movie that involves Music, Fantasy, or Family entertainment, that would have existed without work of art.
i HATE watching theese old disney movies on blu-ray!!! it takes away that old feel of them and makes it feel like your watching a movie that just came out instead of the old classic that we know and love.
@REKONBALL2 i actually dont mind it. however it might have been a good idea to have the film in the original and master formats on the same disc to cater for more audiences. look at the original star trek - they have both on each of their discs. remasters arent too bad as long as they don't overdo it or even dare to alter it
i want to buy this but it is sold out on the stores i use to buy, even online stores. Do you guys know if it will come out a normal bluray edition? i really want it =/
am i the only one that thinks it ruins theese classics by making them in HD? it makes it look like a brand new movie. thats a bad thing. new cartoon suck! they looks so much better back in the 60's when this really came out. well they dont look better but i like the way they look waay better. it just totally ruins my childhood memories of watching this on an old tv from the 80's and on VHS. i hate bluray!! i dont mind having new movies on bluray. but stay away from the disney classics!!! please!
In the 30's, movies were just as crisp in the cinema's as today, except we're so just to the bad condition most film reels are in nowadays, that most people actually believe the film looked like crap back then.
@REKONBALL2 i'm kind of happy they're doing it. Because i don't own some of these classic disney movies, and i absolutely love them. I've been buying all of them on DVD, just so i can watch them and relive my childhood. because in my opinion, having them on DVD is better than not having them at all. And I don't really have a problem with them being just a bit better quality.
Does anyone notice the zodiac signs around the magic mirror? You might not see it very well in the trailer but in the movie you can right at the beginning when the queen walks up to it. I've seen this movie so many times but never noticed it before!
Aww lucky lol I bought mine off Amazon for £15 and then went into HMV and saw that for a bit more I could of got a limited edition film cell =[ Oh well =] HMV always adds exclusive extras to certain things.
Doesn't matter to me, the content is what's important. I own the first DVD release of this movie from 2001 wich was a platinum edition and now I got this one too, I ordered from amazon and should get it in a few days, I want to compare the quality of the movie on Blu ray vs DVD.
I am not gonna buy the video, because I already have the Special Edtion Release of the movie, nut I love disney and Snow White! I am so glad it is getting all this attention! Thanks for uploading! Great Video
I did not mean to start an argument. This is marketing at it's best and Disney is being far from misleading. There is no "fine print" either. The cases are clearly labeled in several different places. All a consumer has to do is read the big print plastered in several places on the case. It's obvious that we both disagree. Blu-Ray is an amazing technology and the Blu version of the film is leaps and bounds over the restored DVD they give you. The difference is astonishing.
It's called marketing. Most families have not yet upgraded to Blu-Ray, and they don't care about the bonus features. They just want the film. Most families would never pick up the Blu-Ray in the Blu-Ray packaging, but by putting the same content in DVD packaging the average Family thinks they're getting a deal by receiving the Blu-Ray with their DVD. The packages are labeled everywhere. All you have to do is READ. It's very clever, but not false on Disney's part.
@MikeDV101 I actually think your right about Disney, I went to buy the original DVD, not the Blu-Ray since I don't have a player. I'm really mad that I can't watch the special features until I buy a Blu-Ray player! That's not right. Walt Disney would be ashamed, Snow White is his masterpiece and sad so many can't enjoy it as well as they could.
It is not misleading at all. You you need to do is READ the packaging. It clearly says that you are receiving a 2-disc Blu-Ray with a 1 Disc DVD. Simple as that. Disney decided to release the 2 disc Blu-Ray with1 Disc DVD in both Blu-Ray packaging and DVD packaging. The cases are clearly labeled. Nothing is "in disguise". Blu-Ray is def not lame, the transfer is gorgeous. Even after watching the restored DVD, the Blu-Ray still shows such a huge improvement in quality.
Disney did not release a "false DVD". They just released the Blu-Ray in both a Blu-Ray case, and a DVD case. If you read the cases it clearly tells you that you are getting a 2-disc Blu-Ray with a 1 disc DVD. It's not a "false DVD", all you need to do is read the packaging.
We received our discs and watched as a family over the weekend. I was a little dissapointed at first because it started out as one of those "old" cartoons that you cannot get kids interested in these days. However, as the movie played, my children, especially the youngest 3 (ages 2, 3 and 8) actually sat down and watched the movie in its entirety. In the words of my 2yr old "The turtle is funny." They absolutely loved it.
I have the version of this movie from when it was released on vhs in the early 90's. The restoration porcess has gotten a whole lot better since then. The footage from this commercial looks ten times better than the tape I have. I will get this on blu ray and it will be my first blu ray.
Saw it dozens of times in many languages but it just dosent get old now that Disney re releases its movies in the diamond collection Im gonna start collecting Disney movies too Im a huge movie collector and I admire and love Disney works mostly the origonal 2D animation 30s to the middle of 2000 they were on a winning streak for me but then 3D its too much but now their bringing back 2D at last with remastered classics

Also on "My Friends Tigger and Pooh: Tigger and Pooh and A Musical, Too", "Bedtime Stories", "Imagination Movers: Warehouse Mouse Edition", "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey's Big Splash", "Walt Disney Animation Collection: Classic Short Films: Volume 4: The Tortoise and the Hare", "Walt Disney Animation Collection: Volume 5: The Wind in the Willows", "Walt Disney Animation Collection: Classic Short Films: Volume 6: The Reluctant Dragon" and "Hatching Pete".
This is from "Pinocchio: Platinum Edition", "Escape to Witch Mountain", "Return from Witch Mountain", "Bunnytown: Hello Bunnies!", "Bolt", "Schoolhouse Rock! Earth", "Hannah Montana: Keeping It Real", "Walt Disney Animation Collection: Classic Short Films: Volume 1: Mickey and the Beanstalk", "Walt Disney Animation Collection: Volume 2: Classic Short Films: Three Little Pigs" and "Walt Disney Animation Collection: Volume 3: The Prince and the Pauper".
I want this on DVD so bad, I only have it on VHS! I stupidly didn't buy it the first time but now I want it. I can't get Blue Ray too much money, but I should at least have it on DVd cause the Video picture is so awful!
Im starting my Disney DVD collection Im a big collector of movies anyway and from Now on Disney is one of my great focuses Im gonna get all the Disney diamond Edition Dvds on Blu Ray and DVD
Good luck with that. I tried doing that since 2004, but I had missed so many releases that I didn't know what to do. The great thing now is that I can start all over with the Blu Rays instead.
Good luck, me Im a big DVD collector I started in 2007 and since Disney was such a great part of my childhood and even these days I like watching Disney features I just said ok Im gonna try and get all the disney features in my collection which is big thing I mean with Hannah Montana the movie coming out o DVD soon I think this is the 334th Disney feature
Oh I agree it will be great picture and cyrstal clear sound. I just wish it was on the Platinum Edtion title - I would like the whole collection. Should I sell the four that I have and replace them when they are re-released on Diamond??
If you need the money, (but as for me) I think I will just keep all of mine. As far as SNOW WHITE being a platinum edition, it already was a platinum edition title back in 2001.
If you love the movie alot, buy the outdated one on ebay(I suggest), but still it has already been a platinum.
No I dont need the money I just think it would be nice to have the whole collection of something that I love. So should I switch my entire collection and sell the four that I have on Platinum Edition? (wish I had more only found out about it last year.)
Bite the bullet and switch to Blu-ray as soon as you can. It is worth it, and I haven't even seen the light of day for BD-LIVE as of yet. Haven't got the connection yet. But as far as the disc/cover artwork it is good and everyting being set up for disney, I think all the releases coming will be better in content then the empty platinum editions.
My opinion ONLY....the platinum editions were empty and poor in content.
I don't know about blu-ray. The whole cover doesnt look good and as for picture I dont really hear the difference. and yeah kinda...the Platinum Editions were kinda empty, but still good - the Diamond Collection will change this.
Trust me I have bluray and the picture is AMAZING!!!! + You may not hear a difference on here. But there is a SERIOUS difference!!! It's TOTALLY WORTH IT!! please check out my videos and please subscribe also :D
Disney has confirmed the next diamond editions are fantasia and beauty and the beast are the 2 out next year, there are rumuors of alice in wonderland and the lion king in 2010 and aladdin was pushed for a rumoured 2011 and also joining it is pochahonts, but none of those 4 have been confirmed for sure, we will have too wait for next year's fantasia and beauty and the beast to reveal the next diamond editions. But I really hope they put alice in wonderland out more then any other...
Diamond editions....wow that is sooooo cool. kinda like back in the 80s and 90s with the vhs black diamond thing(well it reminded me of that when I read these comments)
i only have three platium disney dvds, and this release really makes me want to start collecting blu-ray. i think i'll kick it off in october with this movie, than get pinocchio :) can't wait 4 beauty and the beast and the lion king :)
dude, Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty look amazing on blu ray! I always show my friends Sleeping Beauty, and they are always amazed at how much detail there is.
Does anyone know what kind of bonus material will SNOW WHITE Platinum dvd include? The number of the discs or how the cover of the dvd gonna look like??
You can see the tentative cover art on amazon. It's bea-u-ti-ful! : ) It'll be two discs, for the DVD, but three for blu-ray, since a digital copy will be included.
The Blu-ray version is released in Oct and the DVD version is released in Nov. (Black Friday). Timed exclusive for Blu, but the Blu version will carry the DVD copy in the Blu case as well, which will pump the price to around 30 dollars.
Oct. the Blu version released with a DVD copy inside.
Nov. DVD only version released (black friday)
Non Blu consumers might be a little pissed about this.
Yes, the Snow White Platinum Edition Blu-Ray trailer is on both the 'Pinocchio' and 'Bolt' Blu-Ray discs. You can find it under the Previews. All the Pinocchio and Bolt blu-Ray's contain this trailer.
No it would not be on the second disc. Put in disc one of the 'Pinocchio' Blu-Ray and go to the main menu. One of the categories on the first disc is "Sneek Peeks" or "Special Previews". There you will find trailers for 'Snow White', 'Up', 'Tinker Bell and the lost Treasure' and several more trailers. Or you can just put in the first dic of 'Pinocchio' on Blu-Ray and let it run...meaning don't click the main menu button. You will see all the trailers. They are on your disc.
I put Blu-Ray disc One of Pinocchio in, there are no trailers before it.
I put the DVD disc in on FastPlay and - *waits for it to start* only "Snow Dogs" or whatever new movie with snow, and dogs that they've just brought out on DVD.
I assume you are in America thus Region A, I am in Australia so Region B, but a staple title such as Snow White on Blu-Ray, one would assume Disney would make that available on all regions of Blu-Ray disc, otherwise it's a poor move.
Yes, I'm in America; Region A. Thatr is the reason the trailers are different. Disney puts trailesrs depending on region. Yes 'Snow White' will be a popular title in Austraulia, and region B will eventually see a trailer for it. However, Disney has a reason for everything they do. THe platinum Region A releases almost always have the next Platinum trailer on them. Disney's amrketing department feels that Region A consumers need to have the trailer before other regions. Noting is done by mistake.
I didn't say it was a mistake just business-wise it doesn't make sense to me, the companie's first animated film and you wouldn't put a trailer for it on Blu-Ray on a film vastly more popular Sleeping Beauty named Pinocchio? I would...
Anyway thanks for your help, and sorry for getting agitated because above Pinocchio Snow White is my favourite disney film so I find it really disappointing there isn't a trailer for it on the Aussie Blu-Ray release. Shame, but as I said will be buying BD anyway.
I can't wait to get it! When it first came out I didn't have a DVD player (they were kinda expensive), so I couldn't get it or Beauty and the Beast. My only SW version is a stingy old VHS, usable but old-hat. Too bad B&theB is so far away (Oct '10), maybe I should order it... I still have SW, B&theB, Cinderella, and Bambi missing from my platinum lineup (I sound like a greedy collector =/ ), after that it'll be the most up-to-date!!!
Hi thanks so much for posting this magnificent HOT trailer I love the music and FABULOUS editing Disney have made Snow White look better than ever !! Roll on October 2009 !!! Look forward to your higher quality version by the end of the week!
This , as I said earlier is a GREAT trailer , but oh how I wish the Disney Studios themselves would post on You Tube as the sound/picture quality is noticably lacking in this and many other posts on You Tube would be fabulous and a great advert for the Disneyt Blu Ray/DVD re-releases , after all the BBC post on here officially - so why not Disney ???
It's simple, because people like me are giving them free advertising. I try to upload these trailers in the higest quality possible. Just take a look at my 'Black Cauldron' Special Edition trailer- it practically in HD. For some reason when I was ripping this trailer it kept coming up in low qualities. I will try to rip it in a much better quality. When I post something I make sure I have the best quality version of it on Youtube- and I do, right now, with this trailer.
A magnificent trailer beautifully edited perfectly framed crisply remastered in short a splendid advrrtisement for a very special motion picture Disney's first and the Fairest Of Them All !! Roll on October 2009 and I love the music too a real treat!
With my luck my favorite movie(mermaid) would be the year doomsday 2012. With the 12-21-2012 thing. We could all be dead by then as they say, or maybe just something GREATER might happen(Rapture). ????-who would know.
I hate to say it, but you're probally going to have to wait till atleast 2014 or even later. Disney announced the Platinum Editions up through 2010 and Ariel was not yet on the list. The current peroid is7 or more years between releases.
Because 'The Little Mermaid' will be coming to Blu-Ray...eventually. Just not anytime soon. The official Announcement said Ariel will be released, but not any time soon. It has to wait several years. All titles have about 7 years between releases once they enter the "vault". I hope I could be of help.
Aladdin and Lion King so did come out on Platinum. As for Pocahontas, I don't believe that will qualify for Platinum (Diamond) since it's historically inaccurate. In my opinion, though, I think Dumbo and Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh may qualify.
This movie stands on its own as the greatest Animated movies of all time

This film came out in 1937, before wide screen aspect ratios were even invented. So yes, this film is not in wide screen.

It's not widescreen but Disney View sorts that out by adding bars to the sides that blend into the background scenery.

I do believe that the diamond editions, Blu-ray, and BD-LIVE will be a great thing for DISNEY. Its about time!!!!!
TRISAND 2 years ago
Oh I agree it will be great picture and cyrstal clear sound. I just wish it was on the Platinum Edtion title - I would like the whole collection. Should I sell the four that I have and replace them when they are re-released on Diamond??
AnimationDisney 2 years ago
If you need the money, (but as for me) I think I will just keep all of mine. As far as SNOW WHITE being a platinum edition, it already was a platinum edition title back in 2001.
If you love the movie alot, buy the outdated one on ebay(I suggest), but still it has already been a platinum.
TRISAND 2 years ago
No I dont need the money I just think it would be nice to have the whole collection of something that I love. So should I switch my entire collection and sell the four that I have on Platinum Edition? (wish I had more only found out about it last year.)
lalalachachacha0123 2 years ago
Bite the bullet and switch to Blu-ray as soon as you can. It is worth it, and I haven't even seen the light of day for BD-LIVE as of yet. Haven't got the connection yet. But as far as the disc/cover artwork it is good and everyting being set up for disney, I think all the releases coming will be better in content then the empty platinum editions.
My opinion ONLY....the platinum editions were empty and poor in content.
TRISAND 2 years ago
I don't know about blu-ray. The whole cover doesnt look good and as for picture I dont really hear the difference. and yeah kinda...the Platinum Editions were kinda empty, but still good - the Diamond Collection will change this.
lalalachachacha0123 2 years ago

But I really hope they put alice in wonderland out more then any other...

what is a diamond edition???
tiggercat500 2 years ago
The Diamond Collection is a new line of DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.
PDS1990 2 years ago
What is the difference between diamond and platnuim?
Is snow white the first diamond?
tiggercat500 2 years ago
The dudes at Disney have released the Platinums since 2001 so they decided to end with Pinocchio.
Snow White will be the first Blu-Ray Diamond as well as the DVD Diamond.
PDS1990 2 years ago
so now platnims are called diamond edition?
And they all come on 2disc dvd and blue ray?
tiggercat500 2 years ago
Yeah. WDSHE confirmed that Snow White will start the Diamond Collection October 6th.
PDS1990 2 years ago
So now they will now have dvd and blue ray released together.
tiggercat500 2 years ago
what's the difference between Diamond and Platinum Editions? i know the movies are digital restored but what are other features to it?

I am really looking forward to the new Disney Diamond series.
I do find it a shame that they phased out the Platinum Edition Series.
I was always curious why they were releasing Snow White again as a Platinum but now as a Diamond.
Riddler95 2 years ago
They phased the Platinums with Pinocchio in March.
WDSHE confirmed it on May 18th.
October 6th will be the debut of Snow White on a Diamond Edition Blu-Ray Disc.
November 24th will be the DVD return of Snow White on the Diamond Edition DVD.
PDS1990 2 years ago
MikeDV101, Platinum Editions will be no more. Snow White starts a new line of DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs: Diamond Edition.
PDS1990 2 years ago
Thank you. Disney released a press release yesterday confirming the new 'Diamond Edition' series. I will update the video accordingly.
MikeDV101 2 years ago
The series starts October 6th on Blu-ray and November 24th on DVD.

Blu-ray's are so expensive now at wall-mart so... I try to ebay them. I have the previous 2 + the first chronicles of narnia.
...but I will have to buy mermaid at the store and be first in line for that one no matter what cost.
Can't wait anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring it on disney...........!

There's no doubt the restoration will be wonderful for this film. Especially the blu-ray. I have the previous two on that format.

dude, Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty look amazing on blu ray! I always show my friends Sleeping Beauty, and they are always amazed at how much detail there is.

Me too. Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio are just...amazing on Blu-Ray! I bet that the restoration for this classic will surely be breathtaking.

Does anyone know what kind of bonus material will SNOW WHITE Platinum dvd include? The number of the discs or how the cover of the dvd gonna look like??
vladimirxzxz13 2 years ago
You can see the tentative cover art on amazon. It's bea-u-ti-ful! : ) It'll be two discs, for the DVD, but three for blu-ray, since a digital copy will be included.

so are they re-releasing the normal DVD with two discs or just 1??
lalalachachacha0123 2 years ago
I'm looking forward to this. I didn't get it when it last released because I didn't have a dvd player yet.
RadioLaPrincess 2 years ago
The Blu-ray version is released in Oct and the DVD version is released in Nov. (Black Friday). Timed exclusive for Blu, but the Blu version will carry the DVD copy in the Blu case as well, which will pump the price to around 30 dollars.
Oct. the Blu version released with a DVD copy inside.
Nov. DVD only version released (black friday)
Non Blu consumers might be a little pissed about this.

Can't wait for this on Blu-Ray.
Is this trailer anywhere on the Pinocchio Blu-Ray? I can't find it.
movieman2000 2 years ago
yes it is in the preview sectoin
mdje356 2 years ago
There's no previews section on mine...
I'll have another look.
movieman2000 2 years ago
Yep. Just had another look, and nowhere on all three discs, not even the DVD.
That's good advertising...not.
I just wanted to see what it looks like in HD on my TV compared to youtube.
I'm still gonna get Snow White anyway.
movieman2000 2 years ago
Yes, the Snow White Platinum Edition Blu-Ray trailer is on both the 'Pinocchio' and 'Bolt' Blu-Ray discs. You can find it under the Previews. All the Pinocchio and Bolt blu-Ray's contain this trailer.
MikeDV101 2 years ago
How many times do I have to say that mine doesn't?!
movieman2000 2 years ago
The closest mine has to Previews is on the second Blu-Ray disc that has three trailers for various releases of Pinocchio and that's it.
movieman2000 2 years ago
No it would not be on the second disc. Put in disc one of the 'Pinocchio' Blu-Ray and go to the main menu. One of the categories on the first disc is "Sneek Peeks" or "Special Previews". There you will find trailers for 'Snow White', 'Up', 'Tinker Bell and the lost Treasure' and several more trailers. Or you can just put in the first dic of 'Pinocchio' on Blu-Ray and let it run...meaning don't click the main menu button. You will see all the trailers. They are on your disc.
MikeDV101 2 years ago
I put Blu-Ray disc One of Pinocchio in, there are no trailers before it.
I put the DVD disc in on FastPlay and - *waits for it to start* only "Snow Dogs" or whatever new movie with snow, and dogs that they've just brought out on DVD.
I assume you are in America thus Region A, I am in Australia so Region B, but a staple title such as Snow White on Blu-Ray, one would assume Disney would make that available on all regions of Blu-Ray disc, otherwise it's a poor move.
movieman2000 2 years ago
Yes, I'm in America; Region A. Thatr is the reason the trailers are different. Disney puts trailesrs depending on region. Yes 'Snow White' will be a popular title in Austraulia, and region B will eventually see a trailer for it. However, Disney has a reason for everything they do. THe platinum Region A releases almost always have the next Platinum trailer on them. Disney's amrketing department feels that Region A consumers need to have the trailer before other regions. Noting is done by mistake.
MikeDV101 2 years ago
I didn't say it was a mistake just business-wise it doesn't make sense to me, the companie's first animated film and you wouldn't put a trailer for it on Blu-Ray on a film vastly more popular Sleeping Beauty named Pinocchio? I would...
Anyway thanks for your help, and sorry for getting agitated because above Pinocchio Snow White is my favourite disney film so I find it really disappointing there isn't a trailer for it on the Aussie Blu-Ray release. Shame, but as I said will be buying BD anyway.
movieman2000 2 years ago
Oh no, therre's no reason to be sorry, I completly understand your frustration.
MikeDV101 2 years ago
aaaaaaaaaaa wanna have it it's one of my favorite movies!!
Berdine11 2 years ago
I can't wait to get it! When it first came out I didn't have a DVD player (they were kinda expensive), so I couldn't get it or Beauty and the Beast. My only SW version is a stingy old VHS, usable but old-hat. Too bad B&theB is so far away (Oct '10), maybe I should order it... I still have SW, B&theB, Cinderella, and Bambi missing from my platinum lineup (I sound like a greedy collector =/ ), after that it'll be the most up-to-date!!!
Treehugger19900 2 years ago
BTW someone said Snow White sounds not as shiller, I hope not-- I want an original unaltered version!
Treehugger19900 2 years ago
they're not gonna re-dub her voice are they? how are they gonna make it less shrill? where did u hear this...sry lol I don't mean to be pushy haha
but really...
Blondecaliguy 2 years ago
No the voices wuill no be re-dubbed. Disney has NEVER re-dubbed a voice for an U.S. re-release.
MikeDV101 2 years ago
well i know that haha but then will her voice really sound less shrill?
Blondecaliguy 2 years ago
Does anyone know the name of the music???
saltlake911 2 years ago
Hi thanks so much for posting this magnificent HOT trailer I love the music and FABULOUS editing Disney have made Snow White look better than ever !! Roll on October 2009 !!! Look forward to your higher quality version by the end of the week!
moviefan1955 2 years ago
This , as I said earlier is a GREAT trailer , but oh how I wish the Disney Studios themselves would post on You Tube as the sound/picture quality is noticably lacking in this and many other posts on You Tube would be fabulous and a great advert for the Disneyt Blu Ray/DVD re-releases , after all the BBC post on here officially - so why not Disney ???
moviefan1955 2 years ago
It's simple, because people like me are giving them free advertising. I try to upload these trailers in the higest quality possible. Just take a look at my 'Black Cauldron' Special Edition trailer- it practically in HD. For some reason when I was ripping this trailer it kept coming up in low qualities. I will try to rip it in a much better quality. When I post something I make sure I have the best quality version of it on Youtube- and I do, right now, with this trailer.
MikeDV101 2 years ago
I will be uploadimg a Higer Quality version of this trailer at the end of the week- If I can.

When Do you think The Little Mermaid Would Come Back Out ?.... possiblity Could be 2012 ... do you know anything bout that ?...
x1thingx2005 2 years ago 2
With my luck my favorite movie(mermaid) would be the year doomsday 2012. With the 12-21-2012 thing. We could all be dead by then as they say, or maybe just something GREATER might happen(Rapture). ????-who would know.
TRISAND 2 years ago
I hate to say it, but you're probally going to have to wait till atleast 2014 or even later. Disney announced the Platinum Editions up through 2010 and Ariel was not yet on the list. The current peroid is7 or more years between releases.
MikeDV101 2 years ago
dang............!
TRISAND 2 years ago
so ... why they annouced on the 1st blu ray ad that the little mermaid is coming to blu ray ...
x1thingx2005 2 years ago
Because 'The Little Mermaid' will be coming to Blu-Ray...eventually. Just not anytime soon. The official Announcement said Ariel will be released, but not any time soon. It has to wait several years. All titles have about 7 years between releases once they enter the "vault". I hope I could be of help.
MikeDV101 2 years ago
are they gonna do anything special for the little mermaid since it's the movie's 20th anniversary ? like a re-release to theatres
x1thingx2005 2 years ago
Probably not. I hope they have a Alice in wonderland platnuim edition, there has been rumors its coming out in 2011. Also Dumbo would be nice.

vladimirxzxz13 2 years ago
Yes they have, but they are being re-released
tiggercat500 2 years ago
Aladdin and Lion King so did come out on Platinum. As for Pocahontas, I don't believe that will qualify for Platinum (Diamond) since it's historically inaccurate. In my opinion, though, I think Dumbo and Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh may qualify.
