My eyes recently underwent surgery. I am thoroughly happy with the results. My doctors weren't greedy for my money since it was financed by social health care. (which is not to be confused with communism, Stalin and all that stuff!)

The equipment used was top-of-the-line femto second lasik type. No blade used during the process. I have no agenda writing this message, just saying that the vast majority of the surgeries are successes, when performed by good doctors using good equipment.

@eyeconfess Its been two months now. I am still very pleased with my sight, and there have been no complications yet. At nightfall, I may sense some "halos" around light sources but I'm not annoyed by it at all. I have been told that this will disappear gradually. I know there are minor risks and that must always be considered before undergoing the procedure.

@eyeconfess More than a year has passed now, and i haven't had any complications or pain. When in pitch dark i still see some very very dim halos around lights. But it's not a problem to me at all.

my eyes were also ruined by laser vision surgery. Anthony Roberts of lasik vision institute never warned me that I was a very risky candidate. Don't trust these unethical hacks with your eyes.

I had lasik surgery performed by Keon Nia at LasikMD - my vision is now ruined and my eyes are in constant pain and I have a non-stop headache. I'm now a dangerous driver because my vision is not as clear as it used to be, especially at night.

driving is dangerous, flying in a plane is dangerous. everything is dangerous. the success rate for this procudure if done with an expirenced doctor and u being a candiadate is very high. i personally know over 30 people who done lasik, and all of them had perfect vision litterelly the next day.

"Everything is dangerous". An interesting perception. Vision is not just how well one can physically see. There is a whole world of seeing beyond eyesight, that is about having a relationship with our bodies, how much we love ourselves, take responsibility for our well-being. As an eye doctor, I see the people who have problems with Lasik. Obviously not your friends!

well im doing it this tuesday with a doctor who never lost an eye. had only 2 infections and cut 50 bad flaps in 20,000 surgeries. and has never had a 21 year old male have permenent dry eyes pr halos. i did a lotta research and think the benefits outweigh the potenetial costs.

hey i just did lasik yesterday. i was shitting im my pants like 2 hours before it. i was so fuckin nervous and almost left the room.

i ended up doing it and let me tell u it was easier than gettin a cavity or takin a shit. lol my god it was so easy. i so a dramtic improvement right after the surgery. i was seeing 20/20 last night (day of surgery) my doc said i had larger than normal puples so u may see night glares at night but i went bowling last night and it was perfect. ITS HONESTLY A JOKE.

LASIK was the worst decision of my life, it felt like a thousand needles sticking my eyes. They market it like it's painless but it's not. The suction ring felt like it pulled my eyes out of their socket. LASIK promotes permanent conditions with no cure:

But, what if, a patient takes the LAW into their own hands, now ruined and suicidal feeling there is nothing to live for? Doesn't this create an "x" factor for the Lying LASIK Doctors to think about? Does safety now come before money for once? Only time will tell. Basically, the Lying LASIK Doctors have lied in order to save a lawsuit, while pushing the patient past the Statute of Limitations to sue them which is about 2 years usually, all while ruining his patient's eyesight and life.

Sorry but this video is bullshit, you have no clue about it and yet you try to critize it with some stupid pictures and without any sources. I am not supporting lasik but you should come up with some arguments. Well I had a lasik operation and it is more or less better now.

If you YouTube: CRSQA. Watch the news documentary warning the public that Alcon was FALSIFYING SUCCESS RATES, and was being sued for doing so. The owner of 5 laser eye facilities found that more than 20% of the EYES done by that machine were having serious complications. Doctors and their staffs, whom operate the lasers were even complaining. I would stay clear of any USA FDA approved technologies as they seem to be nothing but "paid off devices" that are hurting Americans...Lasik KILLS!

OK, you admit that lasik is dangerous by saying "you take the risk of your eyes getting damaged when having Lasik". I would say DRY EYES from LASIK is a MAJOR DISORDER when it keeps you from being able to work.

Lasik is an optional procedure not a medical emergency. All surgical interventions are an invasive intrusion into the integrity of the biological tissue. War is an option not an agreed upon choice of most people. Even the FDA are investigating Lasik now, because of a possible psychological relationship. What about Post Traumatic Syndrome?
