I'll let this one slide, but the hate you have for us just bubbles out of you when you call this garbage. As for Christian's being called to be SEPERATE from the world... we are, but we are not called to be disconnected from the world, there is a difference. Christian's are also called to love their neighbors and brothers in Christ(Mark 12:31, 1 John 4:20). How can we do that if we do not even attempt to connect with them?
Wow... you spelled "humour" in the style of the great King James. That is funny. That being said, this video is a parody that mocks pop culture if anything NOT Jesus and it says nothing whatsoever about the gift of salvation. Interesting thought though.
We use the European form of spelling in Australia. However, the King James version is my preferred Bible.
One cannot help but wonder what exactly was the Church advertising with this video.
Indeed, your videos do not seem to say anything at all about salvation. The messages are based on silliness and sorely lack substance. This is what God-fearing Christians finds so offensive. A church IS about Christ and Him crucified - where is the call to repentance for the lost?
Another good point made. I think what you are missing though is that this video is one very small part of a larger message. We were not trying to say anything through the video, only create intrigue about the series of sermons we did on relationships. To that end... the video did exactly what it was intended. You are right, there is a much larger message of Christ crucifixion and resurrection a grace and forgiveness for those who are repentant and we talk about all of that. Quite often.
It is easy for you to judge us from thousands of miles away, but lives are being changed here... not necessarily because of our stupid videos but our stupid videos give us an opportunity to connect with people we would never see otherwise.
It's not about being funny or humor. It's about bring glory to God. Even Jesus' ministry was about bring glory to God. All I see in this video is a man dancing. There is no gospel at all! So this ministry and this video does nothing for the kingdom. It's useless. It takes your focus off of God and places it on man.

Alright, now we are getting somewhere. This is a great argument and I agree with it. This video does nothing for the kingdom... what it does do is speak to those who enjoy humor and are searching for answers. Answers that were provided during the event(s) in which it promoted. We can connect with those people now as well through personal relationship. Encourage them, share Christ's love and message with them and help them find the answers they are looking for through a Biblical perspective.
There is a difference of opinion on using creativity and culture within ministry (no matter how childish it may seem), it is clear that our philosophies differ from a lot of you who are being directed here from "slice of laodicea". Please know that this is a piece of satire and we are aware that it is ridiculous. I have set all comments to need approval but do encourage you to share your views as long as you refrain from being "hateful" about it.

Slice tends to think any use of humor is defaming Christ.

Humour becomes blasphemous when it INVOLVES Christ and His Ministry. God is not to be mocked and nor is the gift of salvation.
