Mean Gene Oakerland was really good at the interviews. He always kept his composure as if he were a real journalist. I miss him, JR, and Tony Shavanni (likely terribly mispelled). Matter of fact, I enjoyed Gordon Soley and Gorrilla Monsoon calling the matches as well. This stuff now just doesn't have the same quality to it. The show production is better, but the characters are not.
This was when WCW was going downhill......and it's STILL better than what the WWE is now. That really shows how good wrestling was 10 years ago. How sad is that......

Probably never understood the hype around this guy because he is one of the few guys that never step foot in WWF or WWE, therefore many people who watch WWE and WWF really over looked Sting and still do. But I find it quite funny how WWE fans were going crazy and flipping out at the possibility of Sting coming to the WWE after seeing those cryptic Undertaker promos... you want to know why? Because Sting as good as Undertaker. He was around before Undertaker and HBK.

Mean Gene Oakerland was really good at the interviews. He always kept his composure as if he were a real journalist. I miss him, JR, and Tony Shavanni (likely terribly mispelled). Matter of fact, I enjoyed Gordon Soley and Gorrilla Monsoon calling the matches as well. This stuff now just doesn't have the same quality to it. The show production is better, but the characters are not.
