instead of making a whole seperate roof try copying the floor and moving it to the appropriate height then resize it to what you need.

I struggled to understand and follow your tutorial. The sound quality was poor and I could not make out half of the things you said. Please speak more clearly as I believe your tutorials could be very useful if done properly.
