Around 1997 KGO and KABC started to attach the ABC logo on the 7 logo.

Probably for Robb to get in and out of the seat. It's a good idea, FNC/FBN has the same setup to this day. It's weird how the mic was set up for that update - it should be at a spot where we can't really tell its not a lav mike. Since this is from '97 I'm not sure if they still have that kind of mic there or if it was changed the last few years. You can't really tell the difference of the newsroom because it hasn't changed that much in ages!
