I should add that the shot of the dirt getting flung on the camera when the car launches was fun. I dug a whole, lined it with foil and pressed the camera into place and then covered it with plexiglass. I sealed it with tape and pressed record with a remote. Turns out the audio in that hole sounded fantastic, so I dubbed the audio to sink with the video in other areas of the film further enhancing the drama of the engine.

Looks like I have some responding to do here. When I did that, my class was street stock, so tires and exhaust were showroom. Car has since been set up for race track duty. Thanks for compliments. It did take me about a month to learn how to edit and put that thing together though. It was a fun project.

anyone know of some mods i can throw on to add slight hp/handling? not too expensive like intakes, roll bars, etc.
