this a fanstice song We did not get to hear, in 1959, but I loved it. I have looking for this, a long time. i knew good, Music, Dandy Randy, out of Nasiville Tn. showed me.
This song reminds me of my favorite episode of Andy Griffin when the Darling Family is harrassed by Ernest T. Bass and he serenades Charlene with some song, and for some reason, even the words aren't the same, this song reminds me of Ernest T. Bass singing.:))
Wow, ever since I saw the video of Hairpspray, I have loved this song, and bought the soundtrack only to have my heart broken because it wasn't on here. I have spent 2 hours looking for this song and FINALLY FOUND IT!!! Never knew what the name was either until a process of elimination! YEAH!!!! Thanks for posting this. Its been marked as one of my favorites!! :))

This song was remade by a group called THE SHEEP in 1966 on Boom Records. Made the local survey here in OKC.

Great. Was that song in the original Hairspray phono record shop scene? Bunker Hill used to be a unique area of downtown L.A. memories for sure.
