what is the logic in having all those radios that only cover a couple of bands, do you not think a new or second hand HF radio would be a better investment, at least you would have more bands to listen to.

nice wood work on cabinet. I think CB people have wide range of skill, compare to HAMs. my HAM radio sit on Walmart wire shelf. I wish we can cross talk between CB and HAM, I wish for shared band both CB and HAM can communicate, HAM using HAM radio and call sign, CB er using CB radio.

ok im new to this stuff use to have a cb when i was a kid i have a few old vintage cbs im in the process of gettin up and running there car model where can i find a nice home base unit havent seen em anywhere do they still make them and does any one still use cbs and ham radios ???

Helllo. My name is James. I have A cobra 29 LTD classic with everything to hook it up except an antenna and A microphone. what kind of antenna would I need to reach 20 miles away? or would I need A different CB? This is going to be in my house, not on A vehicle.

As far as Ham Transceivers go all I have presently is what you see here. I am ready to buy a Ham radio but am trying to decide between the Ten Tec Orion 2 and the Yaesu FTDX 9000 Contest. Any opinions on that?
