@Duifje they're synonymous with each other, but if you wanna get technical, bboying was developing in the 70's and that move "reverse planche" was coined in the gymnastic code of points at the very beginning of the 20th century, so bboys borrowed it and renamed it. Also acrobatics has existed for millenia, but that's if we're getting REALLY technical.
He says "it's a good thing" and Id have to agree, because...most coaches see a "cool" looking skill and go about teaching it the incorrect way. The incorrect way has the kid heyperextending and therefore placing excessive pressure on the lumbar region of the spine, which drastically reduces the years the athlete can ultimately stay in the sport. @copper0 i love how it cuts off my message...She leans the opposite direction of the arch which evenly distributes the weight across her spine and up into the shoulder girdle. At that point its simply a "teeter-totter" type balance with little pressure on the lower lumbar. Unfortunately this technique takes far longer to learn and most coaches go for the other technique to appease parents who want to see cool skills, at the expense of the child.
@copper0 Actually, both handstands are correct, They're both variations on the over arch/ mexican handstand. The over arch has the shoulders stay stationary, with the arch forming, while the mexican is the one demonstrated here, leg position optional. The main issue with teaching these different handstands stems from the sport specific training they do (acro/circus v. artistic gym) and the natural flexibility presented in the child.
I used to be a male competive level eight gymnast gymnast and that stuff is easy.

@MrProHLG
Yeah, whatever! The main thing that's unusual here, other than that she's a female, is her age! She's very young to have such amazing core strength

Sheesh! Is it easier for young children to do this since they weigh less?

Another great video, yet the HD has no affect on clarity here either.
Is it the camera or the process of uploading the video via computer?
(Nobody that has any concept of clarity at all uploads video via a cell phone?)
You may wish to take the camera back if it's still under warranty.
Good luck.

isn't that a Mexican handstand?

This is why I hate being an adult in gymnastics. 8 year olds make me look weak.
