My parents wont listen to me. Our dog has an inflammed gut and the vet has our dog on 6 different medications which equal about 15 pills a day. The vet also told us to keep her of meat and any real food and to give her this processed kibble which is high in rice and barley, carbs that dogs don't eat, and salt/sodium chloride. It has some fish meal in it and that's it. What do you guys think?
that makes sense about moisture, I think. Cuz my aunt always gave her dogs leftover human food with rice, vegetable, meat, and bones, which always had a lot moisture. her dogs usually live for a long time (until they become really old. lol)
It's all just common sense, really. It is a terrible shame how "owners" of dogs are really neglecting them without even knowing it.
I think getting a dog is a HUGE decision, and if you don't know how to care for them, and won't take the time to study to learn what the animals need, then you should not get a dog.
Great video. And my vet is trying to put my dog on a low protein processed food when I said she should be eating her natural diet like in the wild. Looks like my dog has gut inflamation, the carbs in processed kibble will only make this worse as it's high in omega 6.
Thanks for the great info, I have dogs and argue this point about their food with most people that try to tell me what I should feed them. Very tiresome indeed!
