Hi I can see one screw but the other one seems to have a blue sticker or something on it, should I just screw it still or is there something I need to do?
Hi, the blue dot is your warranty sticker, it allows BB to know someone other than them have opened your phone, just push your torx screw driver though it, i hope this helps,
@axavisoccer Hi, your welcome and thanks for your comment, now i would say no to glue as it never does good things to mother boards, i would say take it to a repair center because im not sure without the trackpad cable being clipped down it may not work, i hope this helps because i may have miss understood you,
Hi, I would love to but i live in china, and only make these tutorials for sw-box, as a marketing strategic, sorry, if you take it to a repair center it should not cost a lot as it only takes 10mins,
Hi Neil I have a BB Curve 9300 I can only see one screw in the back the other look likes a blue dot!!! Is the other screw beneath that? Silly Question I know? I did watch your video on how to change a BB Curve 8520 LCD screen and did manage to change my sons so thanks for the video very in formative. Thanks Ian
hi, if im honest i have know idea how much it would cost, best to just take it to more than one repair center and see who will do it for the best price, i hope this helps,
Hi, when ever you fit new housing you must start up at the top first, clip it over the top then pull it down, that should then be in the right place to clip the rest of the housing into place, i hope this helps,
@SWwebmaster Thank you! It did work like this, but now I got another issue... The glue from the plastic screen wore off and now it opens up on the bottom where the options and return/answer hang up buttons are, do you know what kind of glue I could get to fix it? Thans.
Hi i have two suggestions, first you could try to find a good double sided tape, that should seal it, other wise maybe just buy a new screen there not expensive and will make your phone look like new, but as for a good glue I really don't know the name of the adhesive they use and i would strongly advise you not to use supper glue, anyway i hope this helps,
hey man greetings from mexico, due to your acknoledges on this phone do you think that blackberry can detect that i got my phone wet with an alcoholic beverage? this incident happened on september 15 and now im planing on sending it but im afraid they´ll just say no and i have to pay for anything the´ll do to it. my trackpad is acting wild and it wont let me click or scroll but everything works great
Hi, unfortunately yes they will see the spillage, but i strongly advise you to follow my video and try to fix it yourself, if you can't then send it to them, at least you have tried first, if you just send it to them they will charge you, if you try your self and fail, then you have lost nothing, and it is quite easy really, just take your time, no need to rush, i hope this helps, and if you need anything else just ask,
hey ive had this phone for a while now i have all the tools and the trackpad and i tried but some parts arent coming out do you fix phones for others?
Hi, really sorry, i only make the videos for sw-box, i don't do repairs in my spare time, but i am sure you can find someone close to you, maybe try to search in google,

Can you replace a 9300 trackpad with one from the 8520? The trackpad on that one is flatter and more responsive
