@dhmmjoph seriously?? woah thats awesome!! well if ur in my region, i hope to see u at competitions. u dont have to say this online if it makes u uncomfortable, but what region r u in? if ur not in my region, i hope to c u at state finals- where hopefully my team will be after Saturdays competition!
FLL is about learning, teamwork, and gracious professionalism. You guys are not showing this at all.....Let's all help each other with support and encouragement.
@98shells98 oh my gosh thank u! what team are u from? because i wana tell the judges how much gracious professionalism your team has! thats being a true role model! You should feel really proud of yourself for actually learning the meaning of teamwork- instead of argueing about how NXTs work like everyone else. great job!
@mycheetah10 Well Im from the California team KT-IT. Thank you for the offer but the compition is over. Sadly, my team didnt get formed again this year because one of our coaches is having some problems with work and things of that sort. I think I missed the boat on signing up for robotics this year. But, again, thanks anyway. :)
actually, there is a remote for the NXT. Please dont get mad at me. I did CSTEM last year and they made us use ps2 remotes. just connect the wireless thing to the robot with this special thing and you can control robot with the ps2 controler. :)
My team was thinking about doing this, but we thought that making it drop off would ruin the rest of the program because the position of the bot would be too unpredictable after the drop.
but, yes, it is a good idea to avoid the dynomometer ( sorry about spelling )
for now, yeah, but that is our end game program and we are going to try to do more with the bot soon. I might post another video if something else nice happens
Im in 2010 robotics with FLL. i wish you luck if you're competing this year and wow! cool NXT program!

nebsix 2 years ago
I did NOT control it with the remote because, as it appears you don't know, THERE IS NO REMOTE FOR NXT!
dhmmjoph 2 years ago

Wow dude you did not put up the warning becaons! DUH your robot would have hit them minus 20 points for 2 that you would have hit
nebsix 2 years ago
I have tried it with them up and it does not do anything to them.

how will you get all the loops?
justforsjov 2 years ago
we have several programs in the works for that, one is line follower, which, by the way, i don't particularly like cause its so inaccurate.
dhmmjoph 2 years ago
well ours is really accurate, your line follower is probably too rough going from black to white.
fopple13 2 years ago
You're probably right.
dhmmjoph 2 years ago
u mean the light sensor?
rya41209 2 years ago
no, the program itself
dhmmjoph 2 years ago
well, wait, where is your team based? I mean what city are you in?
blazerboy55 2 years ago
I dont understand why you would want to go onto the bridge, why not just take your robot onto the yellow and black circle?
blazerboy55 2 years ago
blazerboy-
my team went with this because it allows us to avoiod the dyno, as well asdeploying the truck (extra 25 points)
thanks for commenting,

where did you make this. i made my robot pick up stuff i have the same track at my school
mrcisco3111 2 years ago
Hi!
My team came up with this design as well, but voted against it after all because of bad experiences from the past, using threads.
Are these threads the ordinairy kind you get with the mindstorms set? They look bigger / more flexible.
Great work in so little time btw
We have only had 2 hours of work in it so far

The pieces are mostly NXT 2.0, although some are from my friend's NXT 1.0 set

And thx...we are about a month into fll and can already get over half the points. Next up for us is loops for my team
Btw:we added on to this program. I may post it and if I do I'll do a video response
dhmmjoph 2 years ago
Looks good, but is all the only thing your 3rd motor can do is help climb over the walls?
