  • What makes this even more inspiring it is not his real daughter, and she was adopted. =)

  • This is one of the most touching songs I have ever heard. I have two daughters and the bond that a father has with his little girls cannot be replaced - and this song touches that very much. May God bless this man.

  • When I first heard this song in the car, on the radio, I was so into it, and so moves I almost had to pull over... awesome and powerful work... id give u a gold star if i had one ;)

  • "Why does G-d allow death & suffering?"

    answersingenesis[.]org/media/audio/answers-daily/volume-087/where-is-god-of-love

  • @Eye2EyeIIIV god never allowed death and suffering, there issuffering because we created it with our society, there is death because we as sinners disobayed god

  • @boogydude

I know that. And that's what the link is talking about.

  • Was a nice surprise driving and listening to klove a few months ago and then this came on and was like SCC has a new album! Look forward to meeting Maria in Heaven and SCC and the rest of the family if not permitted here. Rather be in the better place right now for sure!

  • Amazing song. I love his music and hope my music is as powerful as his.

  • I pray for parents who also have lost children while attending college and lose them during the holiday season. I know you worry. Just pray for their safety and that they can continue thru till graduation.

    Bethany our Baylor Girl!

  • This song is only a reminder of what the promises God has made for me and my family. As a grieving parent we do not understand all we can do i love love love our family and hold onto each moment and memory. Bethany We love and miss you so much. We honor you today on your Birthday. We know you are having so much fun loving on others you have just met. You will never change and in our hearts you will never stop being who you are. Continue loving, laughing

  • Today our daughter BETHANY JORDAN PERALES would of been 21 years old. She passed away almost 2 years ago. It was 2 days after christmas and on our way to a family vacation. In an instant she was before me sitting in the back seat with her brother and sister. Then in a flash she was gone. My daughter died in a tragic fatal death. She was holding onto her brother of 6 years for dear life while she laid hers down. She was not able to put on her seatbelt in time and died. I miss her.

  • This song is beyond touching and sweet. I lost my brother at the beginning of the year and I miscarried 3 months later. Very bittersweet, but thankful to know they are with God and the promise of being reunited with them someday in Heaven.

  • As i listen to this song and read theses comments i am so moved and am so sorry for your loss. God will make all things right one day. Be strong.

  • a very beautiful song. i hope he feels better.

  • This song has touched the core of my very heart. Our son went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2008. It seems as if it was today. His father joined him in heaven on June 5, 2009. Thank God I know that they are with him. I will see them again. Praise God!!!.

  • This song touches me as well, having lost our own daughter in February. Only a parent who has buried a child can fully understand the emptiness left behind by their absence. My heart goes out to the Chapmans and all who have gone through this devastating experience. Every time I pray, I end the prayer with "Take care of my little girl until I see her again."

  • having a child my little girl waiting for me in heaven makes this song particularly touching. I already have some words changed to blue eyes & mommy please come & play for me Steven managed to capture my hearts longing in words God tells us to store up our treasures in heaven for there to will our hearts be Having a child waiting for you in heaven is most definitely a treasure I wish I never had to store there but non the less He has given me strength hope & the knowledge that this is temporary

  • God is great and wonderful.. shalom

  • I saw him perform the song at Women of Faith in Dallas. It is such an amazing song.

  • Wow, this is really sad and at the same time beautiful. All will be made right when Jesus comes back. Stay strong in the Lord and God bless.

  • Can anyone write a song as profound as this?!

    Wow.

    Bittersweet and joyful.

Yes, God is so alive and the love of a child and the love a parent has for a child

is truly as the song says heaven on earth.

    THANK YOU for posting this.

And if the Chapmans read this, I want to say I appreciate your unshakable faith and love for our Saviour!

God is glorified in you all! Blessings to you!

  • So beautiful, so sweet... such a testament to the depth of this family's faith and trust in our Lord... praise God, the day is coming when all that is wrong will be made right!

  • I heard this song yesterday on the radio. It's so powerful!!! One of my favorites already.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! So amazing...

  • I just heard this song on the radio and had to see if Youtube could help me with the title...Found it and will definetly reccommend this cd to everyone when it comes out....yeah this is a "kleenix song" but somehow it's a mixture of tears and smiles knowing that the hope of heaven is more than the pain of this world.

  • God is so great!......THIS is how to glorify God in your mourning!

  • This song is GENIUS...

  • Heard this for the 1st time on the way home....I miss my Dad who was blessed with seven girls and a mother who adores him still. luv this song....wish someone could teach me the guitar chords soon.

  • Absolutely amazing!!!

  • Beautiful. Our enemy will fall, and be no more. All the pain and suffering of this world will be wiped away. God, I pray protect your people, and bless us with wisdom and discernment. May your kingdom come, and may your will be done in all things and at all times. Amen.

  • Man, I can't wait for this album.

  • If you follow them on the family's blogs, you know that everyone doubted if he would ever perform again. To see him writing and making cds still, is... awesome. And a miracle. May God be with their family.

  • This song drains me, it's so powerful. (you were right GM2207) My baby girls are mothers now. Wow, the memories & emotion this song brings back. I now have two granddaughters the age of Maria & Stevey Joy. What a treasure. Mary Beth may be right in naming the next tour the "Kleenex Tour"

  • oh...my..gosh. WHAT A SONG!

  • I was there that night and both songs were so amazing and so beautiful! How special of Steven to honour us that night with the first live performance of that new song.

  • oh my word. i'm practically crying. it's so sad and happy at the same time.

  • ah man...i'm torn...i wanna hear it, but i wanna hear it with the rest of the songs when it comes out on album. but your guys' comments are making me excited.

  • this is AWESOME!!! how sweet...heaven is the face of his baby girl. wow

  • I was there and what an emotional song that was--as well as the words he shared about his sweet Maria. That is a night I will never forget--very powerful! Thanks for sharing this.
