@9322671785 Try investing some points into 'Wild Gem' and then breaking the gem on your anvil for alot of mana. If you are using double hued gems then I advise yellow and orange or yellow and lime green. You also need to get started on the pylon fast if you're a low level, which is the strategy I use in the video.
I saw a few times where you could of killed the giant monsters by clicking on them so the towers will shoot at the monster you clicked on and not the smaller ones.
Yellow/Lime is the best, and pick a third colour of your choice, if you are going to have a lot of monsters and the game is short, red, if it's going to be long and relatively few (Giants only, for example), orange, cyan or even purple.
Red is great at the beginning, but grows slowly over time and doesn't tolerate very well being combined with other gems, later on in the game the damage bonus from the kills is insignificant, even if you put it in traps.
@NifeInx Bloodbound gems are not so great later on in the battle. They must start killing as soon as possible to "level up" their damage as soon as possible. Thus I didn't use them.
Beat it on wave 195. Just use armored monsters, they're extremely slow. I just clicked the waves on the left, and used the mana it gave me, to charge the Pylon. It was scary, I started doing that at 11,000.
Personally I think your choice of tower placement is quite poor, but overall it seemed like a good strategy. I'm not on this stage yet but I will consider how you have done it, what was your level?
@Ghostneedle1 The problem is, I placed my mana farm in a poor place. If I recorded this again. I would probably stick towers around that "S" part and maybe placed the mana farm at the top path with amplifiers instead. I was expecting some waves to anger though, but that never happened :(
@FinalCheetah But then wouldn't the mana farm not cover all of the monsters? And I meant by tower placement as in you could've put some of them in places which cover more path.
gah, this level is hard, I guess the lvl 45 requirement isn't that frustrating(had 43 when I got to this one) and meep at that thing that came out of the water
I really didnt like this stage, I hated the pylons location and I had to call waves to get mana so I wouldnt die. Fortunately I managed to load the pylon before I ran out of mana but the screen was all laggy because of the amount of mobs...
@tmdduqrns chain hit gems can sometimes hit 5 target at once, makes them good agenst every wave type there is, its like having a gem with 500% more damage
@xgemcraftFTWx Not to mention it absolutely annihilates spawn waves, which in my opinion are the hardest waves. I'm just hoping the next pylon has chain hit and bloodbound, then I'll be able to finish the video faster lol.
@Ghostneedle1 5 times more damage, 5 times more firerate...doesnt really matter, i use chain-hit in every single map, just a grade 6 with 8 bonus things...it reaches around 1200 damage, hit 4 monsters at once, and a fire rate at about 20
@FinalCheetah I'd have to say that my favorite is blood hound, just get a high level one and surround it with level one bloodhound amplifiers, instant onehitko machine gun, and place lower level bloodhounds throughout the map, merging them into the big one when they become obselete
@Axiss360 I often use this strategy when on a map with bloodbound gems. The only problem is, it doesn't reliably kill swarm waves. But that's what chain hit is good at, mopping up afterwards.
@FinalCheetah Hehe, i play all bloodhound levels on armored only, no more swarms to worry about. It also provides a nice exp bonus, and there's no down side
@FinalCheetah What i like Chain hit + Bloodlust + yellow gems combined you can easliy get up to a lvl 7 gem that hits between 850-1500 with a 100% chance to hit x2 the damage plus at least a 80% chance to hit 2 targets with a few power shires on them. And high lvl poison gems in the traps. I am trying to use that method on the 1st crafting pylon to get to lvl 30 to do the 2nd crafting pylon. I can get up to wave 125 then i get swarmed by 100s of swarm monsters.
@gxxlee123 I haven't found anything that works vs wave 100+ swarm monsters yet. I might try spamming slow traps and putting their targets on random though.

hm, you could have killed quite a few of those giant monsters by simply selecting them so your towers would focus on them, would have saved you quite a bit of mana... but oh well, you made it, so I guess it was good :)
@Godiva6666 Yes though I'd rather take one large hit than take many small ones and having to shoot them all again. Luckily I had a small mana farm so the losses were absorbed pretty easily.
i'm stuck on j4 for a long time
dont know what to do

Is the second epic stage the only one with the demon/shadow that angers like seven waves?
mikie7271 11 months ago
@mikie7271 Yes. Though the shadow manifests itself in different ways on the other epic stages, but not as dramatic as on stage 2,

@FinalCheetah BUT if you start with them they are very powerful and if you put amplifers on them they become
VERY powerful.

I beat this level in one try on all armored.. 2 grade 6 O/Y with 2-4 amps around each one.

how do you change priority?
anders092 1 year ago
@anders092 Hold shift and left click a gem that's in a tower or trap. It'll keep that priority until you combine that gem with another or vica versa.

How many levels is it from the second epic field to the third?

i can understand why this one was harder o-x
you cant rely on your gen that you use for the pylon to take out everything
