These trucks ride soo nice. I have an 89 silverado with the 5.7 (350) engine. had a 90 also that had the 4.3 v6 and my brother has a 90 gmc sierra right now that were restoring
@wackyworldvideos34 dead radio dead cassette dead a/c dead heater no defrost lights barely work windshield wipers work sometimes. basically all electrical systems in my truck are dead but the engine will never die!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@slimjimandpepsi it's a pity it ain't a diesel hah? I don't know...trucks that aren't diesel powered are so weird. Nothing beats the sound of a Diesel, wouldn't you agree?
I really hope I can find a truck like this in good condition.. only thing i would do to this one is put a bed liner and a tool box in. and change the paint to a darker blue and get rid of them pinstripes
I own this same truck! Mine is a 1991 Chevy Silverado 1500 2wd, two tone blue. I'm trying to fix it up but I don't know what I should do. i already have dual exhaust flowmaster 44s on it, and Im thinking about getting bigger tires and different rims. Heres a link to a picture of it:
where the hell do you get so many beautiful cars and trucks in this generation of cars. these are really nice vehicles from my favorite generation of GM cars. probably 1985-1995. this truck here is sick, i would drive it in a minute. a 20 year old like new vehicle my favorite kind. great styling, easy to work on. they dont build them like they used to. cars today suck. plastic pieces of junk with gizmos that dont want or need. and they are too much money. they are also too complex
@ad356 someone should buy the patents for these older trucks, add newer safety features so they follow 2012/2013 new car standards, and put them on the market for decent prices!
@sonic3243 problem is that no matter how reliable that older tech is, it would never be able to meet new epa standards for exhaust emissions. screw the epa, who needs them anyways
@ad356 in that case, change just the things that don't follow modern standards. Exhaust, yeah. It'll also need some headrests that are larger than the seats, like most new cars.
@sonic3243 allot more to it then the exhaust im afraid. the entire emissions system and ECM are no longer clean enough to meet emissions standards, damn tree huggers. tbi was a great system, easy to service, and reliable however it will not meet modern standards which is why it is no longer used. i have a 91 cavalier with a 2.2 tbi car has 200K on it and i have never had a fuel system problem with the car. reliable and simple they dont make them like that anymore
@ad356 I don't think any of the old-styled, reliable cars are still being produced today. The Crown Victoria, which can be converted to CNG if the owner so wishes, was killed off last year. Police have hoards of brand new Crown Victorias is secret parking lots and garages.
I even started a petition so they would continue making it, and possibly a V6 EcoBoost Crown Vic Civilian Car! ipetitions(dot)com/stap2012plus
I have a 95 silverado that is almost the same it has at least 67000 miles on it. A lot like this truck. The only thing it's missing is the Dual Exhaust. I WANT THAT.
Got the same truck, got it new. Flowmatsers and its white. Got 196,000 miles..Its the Best truck. This truck will haul ass. when u go over 90 or 95mph the mph gauge it will come back around. The first one has a red tip and the second one when you go over 90mph its gray. Best year with the 5.7 v8 crate motor. Love this truck!
that engine is pathetic for a v8.. i have the same truck cept a 4.6 liter v6 and a long bed and its guarenteed go way more power than the v8 ik cuz this kid has the v8 short bed and we raced and i smoked him
@northerncustomsracin no it fucking doesnt i drove a 4.3 vortec for 6 months and it had no power. You probably raced a worn out non vortec 305 in a 4x4 extended cab or a dually or something because 4.3's dont have shit on a v8 besides the fact that there tough.
For as good as it looks on the outside I expected the carpet to be in better shape .... This rock as been repainted and has new grille and lights .... beautiful non the less
thats what i want i have a 1986 ford f-150 lariat but my dad used to have a 1992 gmc sierra and it was the .nicest truck i thought we have a new one but my dream car is a 1992 gmc sierra
The sound of the engine is perfect. i will tell a small secret - in Russia some people love American cars like this because the love sound of 5.7 V8 :-))))
@viperocks17 I love how the previous owner put that on. when i get my 2001 beauty I WILL put "The Heart Beat Of America!!" Haha, wait my account on my coumputer is the same.
those are the best trucks ever...ive got one just like that one...blue ....but no exhaust....its completely stock .....still got the same wheels from 1991 lol....some one door dinged me in wal mart parking lot though....they're great running trucks....19 yrs and the alternator and starter were the only major things that needed to be changed.....old trucks will always run...and you've got to love the horse with the 350 lol
Also, you did a 1989 GMC Sierra Work Trim back in April with the same type of interior, but a little different than the 1991 Silverado you just uploaded a couple of days ago and a different color exterior. It was clean and had low miles for the age (116K).

That truck is amazing. Its in perfect condition. I especially like that dash. I hope it finds a good owner.
