he'd "explore" how blacks were allegedly being "racially profiled" by "white" police. Yet, he never had a word to say about all the Caucasians on public buses and elsewhere being beaten by spoiled black thugs 24/7 ...!
he was Johnny-on-the-spot with a two-day town-hall meeting to address what happened to James Byrd. But didn't have one word to say about what happened to Kristopher Kime!
"Love each other or die." That is the greatest thing he said. Morrie wanted us to be passionate towards one another and love and protect each other. Sounds pretty simple, but why do we have such troube putting it into practice? Ego, ego, ego..... That says it all. RIP Morrie. You are a huge inspiration in my life!
@jeffreydebra1 yes, "Love each other or die" that is the way Jesus teaches us. Then we will live forever. A gentle jewish recognition of Jesus way. God was with him.
My English class just got done reading the book Tuesdays with Morrie. My English teacher told us that she would have some of us crying whenever we started to read it. But I made it through without shedding a single tear, and the book touched me a great deal and has caused me to learn a lot about the out side world. Morrie Schwartz is indeed the greatest teacher a student could ever look up to much like how Mitch looked up to him.
I read this book in my last year of High school just on my own time. I'm not a reader, but I could not put it down. After reading it, Ii completely changed the way I think, the way I act. I desired to follow my passion for photography and now am in college for Photojournalism. This man changed my life....and I wish I could have had the chance to thank him....and I day I will
I have found a new hero! My only hope is that when my time comes to leave this world that I can do so with the dignity, integrity and honor that Morrie did.
Morrie quotes "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." This is a quote from Ecclesiastes 1:2. King Solomon, who was also a Jewish man about to die, had it all by wordly standards: wealth, power, status (fame), wisdom, many wives, etc. but all of that was unfulfilling. He left the most profound advise of all, "Remember your Creator...." There is much to be learned from them both and to both i am eternally grateful -- one a seeker and the other convinced.
i just read the book for a class which prompted me to find these interviews and I just find it so amazing that I could also find myself actually loving Morrie even though I only "met" him a few weeks ago. I would like to have that effect on others too. In the end, even with all his "dissabilities", Morrie Schwatrz remind the very definition of grace and dignity. Thank you Morrie.
Morrie was a great human being and I am sure he helped some people. Who listened to this man full of wisdom....... R.I.P. Morrie What a great teacher he must have been.. God Bless

Here are the names of a few dead Caucasians murdered by spoiled, brainwashed, racist blacks in recent years.
My contention is that they were partially killed on account of Koppel - and thousands(!) of other media libs that followed his cowardly example - for not being honest about complex matters of race in this country.
I also read the book before watching these videos and y CRIED so much, but I also laughed and enjoyed every word. He is such an amazing example. I am so grateful that he shared his wisdom with all of us and hopefully we can aspire to become more like him as we age and learn from our own lives, sorrows and happiness. Thank you Morrie and thank you Mitch Albom for having the spiritual prompting to write such a beautiful book about a wonderful man.
Today, I finished Tuesdays with Morrie, I'm 19 I've been trying to read it for a couple of years, I cried, I laughed, I acknowledged, My mother passed a way a few months ago, I LIVED one of his many sayings "To learn how to live, we must learn how to die" I already had learned that seeing my mom going through her illness "CANCER" Morrie is one of my heroes, When I finished reading the book I looked this video up. I want to be like Morrie!
Having finished the books mere minutes ago, I had to find these videos, I had to see Morrie. I'm glad that I did. I aspire to me somewhat like him, and to learn.
Ted Koppel did more to damage race relations in this country than anyone in the history of broadcasting. For over two-decades, Koppel used the vast power of his Nightline show to drill into millions of minds that Caucasians, especially males, are the absolute scum-of-the-earth!
He especially worked on blacks with his campaign of slamming Caucasians, hence we now have a black-on-white crime epidemic that's off the charts!
These days the Golden Piehole lives comfortably as a retired millionaire.
I'm reading this book in Portuguese and now I realize that there is a huge light inside of some people. I would like to be like him, an optimist person... but it's just a dream... Thanks, Morrie!
What a fantastic person Morrie was. I hope in the future people understand that we have the capability to be compassionate with one another. I hope people can realize this without having to be on their death beds. Isnt it strange how Morrie, who was a frail, sick man who was dying from a horrible disease knew the secret to life, yet the biggest, richest, most powerful people in the world havent a clue. Open your eyes people.
RIP Morrie. You truly will be remembered as "a teacher to the Last"
and the beauty of morrie's words of wisdom is that they are so simply and true.... we all know 'love is supremely important' (as he puts it) yet so many of us are not living that...
morrie's teachings serve simply to remind of us of who we are the the value of love, real love... :)
Very wise words indeed. Morrie's concept was very Buddhist influenced. We all should live life the way he explains but our ego & suppression of feelings gets in the way.
(as noted by the stupid negative comments posted by some)
Why is it only when people come face to face with death do they realize what is truly important in life? A man should contemplate death daily for no man knows the hour.Death comes like the theif in the night. Live each day like it is your last because one day it will be. May God rest Morrie's soul and grant him favour on judgement day. He helped many learn this valuable lesson.
I'm so young. I gotta lotta livin to do, i think we're all afraid of death because it wasnt orgininaly part of creation. We fear what we don't understand. We fear the unknown.
Scary sht to pass on, but life is a very valuable and delicate thing. Living is a state of mind and spirit.
Thank you so much for posting this series of videos.
We just finished reading this for English, and it's safe to say "Tuesdays with Morrie" was the best book I've ever read.
Anyone who has the mind to say anything disrespectful about this man is a cold-hearted person. I can actually say this book was touching and it changed my view on life.
You must be young. One day you will be dying and you will wish you had the same attitude and wish you were surrounded by people that love you. With my job I deal with death everyday and you learn to appreciate your life. I wouldn't expect someone as immature and callus as you to understand that. One day you'll see. I just hope that you don't have to learn the hard way.
In the next world this phony Koppel will be joining Joseph Goebbels, and no doubt Hitler and Murdoch will be there with 'em.
Koppel had a fabulous Nightline show for which he could have used to create racial harmony, but instead he chose to use the program to urinate on the collective American psyche for over 20 years, telling the world his Lie that "Whites are holding you blacks down, you might as well not even try to make a nice life for yourselves!"!!
The best book I have ever read. What a poignant, sweet soul. So glad these interviews are on youtube. By the way, Ted Koppel was so moved by Morrie, after 42yrs of doing news, his last Nightline reflected solely on Morrie.

In this clip we see Koppel acting like he cares about this Caucasian fellow. But if you looked at his Nightline work, you'd find that the phony has an agenda, and it sure as heck has nothing to do with being charitable towards Caucasians!
The British-born bastard did one Nightline show after another in which he "addressed" issues concerning blacks. He ALWAYS put the spin on things that said, "Caucasians are doing you wrong"!
But here he's shown acting like he "cares" about this old white guy!

Ted Koppel used the power of TV to foist a load of crap on Americans for over two decades. Using his Nightline soapbox, he couched one program in after another basically saying that Caucasians are racist scumbags doing horrible things to other races 24/7.
He loved reminding us of our slavery past and was an expert at putting the spin on sensitive matters so as to suggest that ALL whites are descendants of slave owners, while seldom a word about the 650,000 Union soldiers that died for blacks.
Thank you for that lesson in how to tolerate the evolving... We are all dying my young friend, we all deserve life and in that we all deserve death. Illness and suffering allows us to many lessons that we may never have been able to experience. (I should know, I've been unwell for 10 years).
Rest In Peace Morrie, your spirit (and words) live on in many of us :-) x
it is such a great idea to write this book which can reach every person anywhere it's really very hard almost impossible to find such a perfect human being in our days may his soul rest in peace
I couldn't put the book down and was so glad to find the Interviews with Ted Koppel as mentioned in the book. Thank you for posting this. It's obvoius that as Morrie intended, he reached a lot of people and taught them something.

I cannot believe the courage and will that lies within Morrie. His understanding of people, life and relationships is unlike any other. Morrie has made me want to be a better person and I will never be able to thank him for the new perspective he has given me on life. Morrie was truly an amazing man. Thank you for putting this up so that others may be able to watch and learn from him.
morrie has been a blessing to the lives of each and everyone who have read the book and watched this.. he has changed and touched lives, made people realized things and see life in a different perspective, even death sounded positive to him.thanks morrie..=)
Dear Amandalai, thank you so much for posting this interview with Morrie. What started as a final project for a psychology theories class has turned into a beautiful insight on living. I really like the statement Morrie makes about culture. "If the culture you are living in does not agree with you, make your own." Peace, Veronica
His last part about being an angel was so cute. you can here tedd choke up a little haha. also if you didnt know Morrie's family was Jwish and when he became a teenager he wasnt sure what religon he was with but in the end we find out the sweet little old man believes in god thats amazing I know morrie is an angel and he is watching over his family, none of his relationships end as mich findes out at his funiral that it felt the same even talking to him. they are tuseday people after all.

Dear Amandalai, thank you so much for posting this interview with Morrie. What started as a final project for a psychology theories class has turned into a beautiful insight on living. I really like the statement Morrie makes about culture. "If the culture you are living in does not agree with you, make your own." Peace, Veronica
