My buddy caught a fabulous 40+ incher last night on something that looks like what he had up in the initial frame. I had one get off my line that I tossed out by a buoy. Thought I was snagged, and had the rod tip completely up straight in the air when I realized it was a Muskie. Didn't set the hook, and I didn't land him. That was my first Muskie fishing trip but it will not be my last!
i invented everything thing that was and ever will be so there give pete some credit, are you going to say that he didnt invent the jake or the ernie to come on the dude catches more muskies than any of you.
Fred Arbogast copied this idea "25 years ago" when they were making the AC plug ..some of those were 12" long with plastic swim trailers.. this guy didnt event this.....
I am 50 years old now...and 25 years ago... The Crankbait Corp. made a lizzard bait with a grub tail on it for bass fishing... this is not a new idea... when i was 12 i was fishing worms wacky style... when i was 13, i was fishin Mr Twister Hawg Frawgs on top of grass.... in recent years, all of these ideas are said to be "New" .. none of them are.. just the people who are doing it .... kinda like Columbus discovering America.... when there were already people here... its all in your perspective
Sorry buddy . . you cannot take credit for that! Some of us have been making and fiddling with lures since we were in grade school. When my plastic jigs would start to fall apart I would cut them in two and attach them to my other lures, treble hooks etc. to give them extra effect. That would be about 23 years ago! I never saw pictures or knew of anybody else doing it. (I'm isure speak on behalf of 100's or 1000's of other avid anglers doing it as well.)
Pete takes credit for popularizing it by mass producing a lure for the market. No one doubts that lure tinkerers like yourself were doing this for a long time ... but he did bring it to the masses.
