I've thought of doing a similar thing, but what kept me from doing it was my deduction that someone who knows the landscape or the government can figure out precisely where it was shot from and subsequently your address if you still live there.

I lived in Koreatown for a year from 2/04-3/05, right by Wilshire/Gramercy. Tiny apartment, but I loved the view..not as nice as yours, but I could see the Wiltern and the Hollywood sign.
