  • Devotion to God and Guru is not a subject of debate, pride, haterd . It can only happend when one is Humble and loving. Your mind , power , wealth muscle will not take you to the lotus feet of God and Guru. Only your heart and tears of love will.

who know what will be in the future, but there is one thing which have taking so many

century to plant and we are no succeeding and that is love, harmony and peace. Let

us constrate on that and I am sure we can achieve our goul in life. So please stop

  • This beautiful sacred hymn turns divine when coupled with heavenly voice of Rafi Saheb..same holds true for any hymn for any other community that Rafi ji rendered his voice to ..such as "Sukh ke sab saathi"..."Tarif teri nikali hai dil se...sirdi wale sai baba"... to name a few...

  • God is gr8. . . .appearng b4 us meek humans in diffrnt ways. . .nd leading to righteous way of life. . . .its a humble request to everyone plz dnt post any abusive words nd if smone has dn it then plz delete ur cmnt. . .

  • this shabad was sung in 2 sad a tone. The Guru ias and was always in exhilaratingly high spirits (chard kala), maybe this tone is more for us to be able to relate to what all he went through on our level, but, on the level if the shabad (wordings) it's a spirit too lofty for sorrow, defeat & loss. No man I know who was like him and was able to create a nation if himself. Such is the beauty of the Guru - who shows us how to play the game if life in the names of Nanak, Gobind, Granth and so on =)

  • thi.....adharm / evil k khilaf thi..... hindu - muslim ki baatein karke unki kurbaniyo ko galat matt thehrao, muslims k he desh pakistan me guru nanak ji ka janm hua tha, vaha bana guru dwara, nankana sahib muslims ne bdi he mayata, pyaar aur shradha se kayam rakha, aur vaha jane v ale adhiktar log muslims he hai naki sikh / punjabi !

  • Sikh Gurus fought against cruelty & injustice of the kings not against muslims They have friends like Bhai Mardana, Sai Mia Meer peer Budhu shaw and many more even in undivided Punjab sikh & muslims live happily Its our corrupt leaders who bows seeds of haterd Same occured around 1984 in Punjab we should hate such leaders not our fellow beings & keep upward teachings of our Great Gurus

  • This is said to be the thoughts (Khayal) of the Guru - after he had lost so much that was dear to him - his family. It is a thought for all people. It is entirely appropriate that Mohammed Rafi should sing it. Another wonderful version was sung by Alam Lohar about 30 years ago. In the thought The Guru is not lamenting that he will not see his sons or his mother - but that life would be intolerable if he was separated from his ultimate firend and Master - God.

    Hail the Panjabi Language.

  • @lovehackinggals how dare u say muslims get out of here..they are more than welcome to listen to any of this...leave the hate outside

  • @Amardeep661 Agreed!Otherwise, people would find here only utter silence as the first muslim to get out of here would be Rafi Saheb himself...Could anyone feel the vibrations rippling from rafi ji's voice?... it has no religion..nothing.just pure peaceful and soothing experience.I can barely take enough of this song ...I am already in tears..May God give rafi HIS best place of reverence and comfort with HIM.I still wonder how people think of anything else but rafi saheb's overwhelming pure magic

  • it goood song..

  • @Amardeep661

Yes Sikhi is about Universal Brotherhood

  • @Amardeep661 Yes tell the same to people like Zakir Naik and organizations like Let, HuM etc. There was no hate before , Sir this is just a natural reaction to what the Hardliners and their followers , which constitute the majority of muslim population have done throughout the past four centuries. Tell this to the people who wont let Salman Rushdie enter his parent's country , tell this to Kapil Sibbal who doesnt have the guts to offend these so called muslims.

  • sab sikh guru apni jaan di kurbaani de diye- lekin musalmanno ke aagey jhukke nahi. musalman bahar jaaon yaha se.

  • RAJ KAREGA KHALSA

  • What endurance, Sikhism I think is the best in the world, I was astonished to visit the Golden Temple and discover all the devastation and atrocities committed against them. It is a miracle how they have survived everything and the religion is still going strong. Just confirms Sikh religion is the religion. Guru ji ki Fateh, Waye Guru

  • kya baat hai rafi -ji rest in eternal place

  • Very well conceived and edited video which compliments this pious Gurbani Shabad, so well rendered by Rafi Sahib. Thank you for posting.

  • I dint understand it . May be some religious song for Sikhs .. But, the thing which makes me stick to this song is, the voice of Muhammed Rafi, and the way he has sung it and made it an unforgettable memory ...

  • @winthis1 Yes its a Sikh prayer

  • very very nice edit...dhan dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji...
