F.E.A.R. 1 is what Doom 3 was trying to be. You know how when Domm3 came out everyone was like "Oh man, this game is so scary, you gotta play it with the lights on, and don't play it alone at night!"

Well, Doom3 wasn't scary at all for me. It was a theme park horror ride where stuff jumps at you from the shadows.

FEAR on the other hand... there were times where I shot my own shadow, I was so jumpy. The "bad guys" weren't even that mean looking, it's just the devs knew how to set the atmosphere
