The only thing I dislike about Styper is when Robert sings ballads,he sometimes sounds like a girl.Technically an excellent singer though to be fair.I saw them in Toronto in 1990 I think it was and Judas Priest singer Rob Halford got ontage and jammed with them that was awesome!

I don't think they are satanic. Don't get hung up on that early Maiden song "Number of the Beast". The lyrics show it is not even close to being Satanic. I am a Born Again Christian and I rate Maiden highly with live performances that rock. I also like Stryper. Anybody who thinks Maiden are satanic should listen to "The greater good of God" from their album A matter of Life and Death. Long Live Rock and Roll, especially when it is Live and Heavy. Better still when your feet are on THE ROCK!

also maiden makes music about empowerment of the self, personal freedom, breaking the chains of society etc, warning of the dangers of fear by EXPOSING fear-mongers etc. the very things that would be considered christ-like in message. its often an explantion or rumination on an ideas and a way to confront all this fear we deal with as human beings. be strong! there is nothing to fear but our own weaknesses, which we can improve through doing our best in this life...peace...

Seen them live TWICE!!! Both times were great. Once in 1989 and once in 2005. Still rocking!

I saw them in '87 and in 2003. They were actually even better in '03 at 40+ years old. Their dual solos were as clean as ever and Michael can still hit all the high notes!
