I have a bald cypress that I bought from my friends nursery. I cut it at shoulder height. I may need to do another trunk chop and try to develop some taper . When should I and what height you suggest . I'll send a pic.
@garyanderson911 Hey Gary...you need to decide how tall your tree is...there really isn't any formula...its just what looks good to you. I have BC from 12" to 5' tall and I love them all.
@SanRafaelSwell I live in south florida so my winters arnt very long, but the cypress needs to have a domant season so its a very hardy tree to me. I keep mine in a tray of water due to florida being so hot and it helps develope the roots as well.
