  • 8 locomotives, now that's some serious power! Thanks.

  • sweet. thanks for postings. foamer yes. hater no. let people be people. who cares if a few enigneers laugh at the railfan, most wave and sound the horn, if others want to laugh at the foamers, its no skin of my back, hey If I gave you a laugh, then you got something out of it military guy.....

  • Holy shit. SEVEN LOCOMOTIVES!!!

What number of platforms is the convoy?

  • Gidday from downunder Australia

Crikey that's a bloody awesome video mate, thanks for sharing.

  • damn when its hella cold or raining and the airs fresh u can hear thse bnsf preety far

  • I would rather foam than be an ambulance chaser!

  • @karldotcom Thanks for showing trains! 150 years & many thousands of people opened up the country with rail transport. To bring us goods we need! I like to see how it's done.

This is as interesting as watching overpaid players play ball - just to promote/advertise/merchandise goods we don't need

  • @karldotcom= He's a liar. He's probably never even set foot in a train in his life.

  • But yet you're here on your time off from running trains ... hmm

  • @cjfranchot Im always amused at comments like yours. Do you think that if I could follow you around 24/7 that I couldn't find plenty to ridicule you about regarding your lifestyle and habits?

  • @cjfranchot Then why are you wathing the video???

  • @cjfranchot yo! Thats funny I was thinking the same shit.. (get a life, it's just a train) But then I seen some people with youtube channels that seem to have a underlying deep obsession with ELEVATORS. Yes, elevators. They record videos of riding on elevators. After I seen that, the "train people" dont seem all that bad anymore.

  • @cjfranchot Why are you searching for train videos and taking the time to leave an insult? Get a life!

  • @cjfranchot why do you drive a train if your annoyed by it

  • @cjfranchot I'll admit that if people stood around, taking pictures of me and my equipment as I did my job, it'd be a little annoying...however, railfanning has been around a lot longer than your railroad career has. Foamers go with the territory. As long as they aren't trespassing, then they are hurting you. If you don't like it, you should've chosen another profession.

  • Man I can't believe this, this is certianly way to much power for that train, they should of had two or three units in the middle and some more at the end of the train, (if) this train is actualllly that long, Nice video, 5 stars!!! BNSF!!

  • they probably were just moving some extra loco's with a freight train. probably to save money

  • Not all of those units are online, BNSF only allows 36 powered axles in one loco consist, and most dash 9s equal 8 powered axles because of the amount of tractive effort they produce. So 5 at the most are actually doing something.

  • I love the BNSF Paint job!! My Favorite of all!!

  • 8 locos, must av been some seriously heavy stuff inside those intermodal containers.

    awesome shot dude!!!!

  • Power, power, power, power, etc. This is amasing!!!

  • Beautiful! Just beautiful! Imagine the horsepower all those engine make! I wonder how many tons it can pull? 5 stars, baby!

  • I believe all 8 were Dash 9-44CW's which produce 4400hp each; so 35,200hp on that train, and they all sounded like they were on line and pulling.

  • im not really good at this thing yet, whats a Z train?

  • Priority intermodal train

  • James J. Hill would love this...to see what his old railroad has come to look like in the 21st century..so would my Uncle Raymond (Burlington Route) and my Grandfather, too.(Santa Fe)

  • Man all that BNSF power Fantastic!!!!!

  • THATS SWEET! you got lucky. the most i have seen is 4 engines.

  • AWESOME!

  • to see all the bnsf in the front

  • what is the point is this movie

  • The point is that its not everyday u see 5 or 7 big engines rolling together....but u have to be into trains to realize that. Kinda like if I was bird watching which I dont and a rare bird landed...I wouldnt know what I was looking at.

  • Choo choo! Why is one of us pink?!

  • The pink started out as red, it just faded in the sun over time. That's an Ex Santa Fe loco, Santa Fe being one of the former company's now making up BNSF.
